I love venn diagrams. Hyuck yuck yuck. I really do! I looove venn diagrams. It's just something about those three circles and the analysis about where there's the intersection, right?
When I was in school, the lunches were great. We had made from scratch ravioli, the good school rolls, and more. Lunch was 25 cents, and if you brought lunch and only got milk, that was 3 cents until 8th grade, when it jumped to 5 cents. When I got to high school, lunch was still good, but cost 35 cents. I could skip lunch once, and then the next day go out to the hamburger joint next door and get a cheeseburger, fries, and a Coke for just 50 cents. I only did that occasionally.
My craving, which started in sixth grade is the humble Tater Tot. I actually asked one of the lunch ladies who lived near me to show my mother how to make the same kind of burgers and watered down jello.
Yes and this is an even bigger crime than indoctrination or the complete joke of 'academics'.
You can undo the indoctrination (especially if you counterbalance it in the early years),and you can supplement the academics with tutoring and, these days, with AI.
How do you undo eating poisonous toxins for 12 years straight?
The consequences of that start appearing around 25-30 and stay with you for life.
Most kids got dropped off to school in a Mercedes...or had their own.
Hamburger meat for school lunches:
A big 25# white plastic bag, with no frills black writing...printed on the front it said:
USDA Grade E - Edible
It's like the US government copied the Catholic Church sitting on a pile of money, while always crying poor to keep the grift going... Trying to give the impression to taxpayers that the USG was being frugal with their precious tax money... what an absolute joke!
I am dating myself, but I remember when school lunches were 35 cents, tasted good, good for you and the lunch ladies were nice.
I last remember that in 6th grade in 1967.
And a carton of milk was a nickel.
K -6th grade I went home for lunch every day.
I remember spending that entire 35 cents on yeast rolls and milk.

" I love venn diagrams. "

...admitting that you have a problem is the first step on road to recovery...
...carry on Patriot...
Sadly, those aren't my sentiments, rather, that came from the top mind of our time.

Since 2012 they haven't even been able to get 2% milk or whole milk. Thanks, Big Mike.
But, the "Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act of 2025" is in the senate https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/222
I remember when school lunches were not heated in a microwave.
I remember when there weren't microwaves anywhere that I knew of. I saw my first one in 1971 in college.
Yes I saw my first 1 in 1973 when I was in the 5th grade
Remember that time they passed a law that Pizza was a vegetable.

But this was way over 50 years ago.
Using a Venn diagram, Kamala Harris would love it.
Our enemy has trained us well because there are a few things I used to get in school lunches that I crave today.
Somebody remembers Apple Cinnamon Crumble

Any use Harris would have for it would make it a Venial diagram. (A weak word, but the best I could find in 10 seconds.)
