My guess is that Portland has the largest concentration of liberals in the state, yet if you were to travel into the hinterland you would run up against many many conservatives. Something is wrong in these types of states where concentrated power overshadows vast expanses of conservative thought. How will this be corrected? Via violence or just plain old voting out libtards? Are Oregonians getting tired of this yet?
Number 1 would be to get rid of the mail in voting. At least then we would have a chance of voting in someone decent. The Dems have a lock on elections with the current system.
Oregon went off the rails with the 1964 Reynolds vs. Sims decision that basically converted Oregon's republican form of government into straight democratic. Prior to Reynolds vs. Sims, each county was allotted at least one state senator, regardless of the population of that county. This balanced the power against the state legislature which was heavily democratic because of the more populous urban areas. The same thing happened to several other states.
People are sheep! There is a major disconnect when voters are willing to accept increasing levels of taxes, without pushing back, from their politicians. You elect public servants, not kings! Why do people go along with these dummies taking more and more of their hard earned money?

Same questions and issues in calirado. We donβt think itβs reversible in a couple lifetimes.

Legitimate, free and fair elections would get rid of a lot of the corrupt and evil nonsense EVERYWHERE.
Somewhere Karl Marx is smiling down.
Oregon is almost a full Communist State now.
Marx Saddam and Satan could make a hell of a South Park episode.

Well there goes any desire to move to Oregon! Shame, as many parts are more beautiful than WA state.
Hey, what are those Portland peons griping about? Don't they know that socialism is expensive?
The only legal taxes should be sales taxes
