Please God, be with the people affected by this. In Jesus’ name we ask. Amen. I truly hope that this was a storage space and there were no people nearby.
Grain dust is highly combustible, so a fire or an explosion can happen at a large grain-handling facility or in a grain-storage area on a local farm or ranch. Four basic elements must be present for a grain dust explosion to occur: fuel, oxygen, confinement, and an ignition source. I think the dust from manufacturing wood pellets fall into this category
The City of Houston is not bad, providing you avoid Downtown, East Houston, Southeast and Northeast Houston, West Houston and Southwest and Northwest Houston and South and North Houston.
This is my hometown, my mom called me right after it happened she lives only three blocks away

Hope you mom, and everyone is okay.

Looks like bomb implanted in there somewhere
Don't look like bomb to me. Looks like a vapor, gas explosion like a flower dust explosion. But what the hell do I know.
You know common sense and dust can be highly explosive.
Common sense is pretty common. No way dust is making that explosion bud

"Massive" is a relative term.
I live near Houston. This is like a twice monthly occurrence here.
How is Houston now-a-days. I was spent some time there in the 80's, but understand that crime, particularly violent crime has gone up a lot.

The rest of it is quite pleasant.
Thank you for that info. If I ever get back to Houston I'll make sure to avoid those areas lol.
