An estimated one million young Catholics from around the world greeted Pope Leo XIV like a rock star Saturday at an open-air prayer vigil outside Rome, after the head of the Catholic Church made a dramatic entrance by helicopter.
Right. The only human on the planet deemed infallible. Let that sink in. It means he can do whatever he wants and still remain unscathed. There are so many other things one could point to and ask about in the realm of Catholicism - but I really don't think you even have to go that far.
All you have to do is look at the picture of this man - and it screams against everything the Bible demonstrates and teaches.

I was raised in the Catholic Church. I have to say from a personal account, it never hurt me. I would say that it lit a fire in me from a young age, and I have one nun to thank for that. She explained the love that God in Christ had for me, it was a very unloving time in my life, she had observed the bruises and the loneliness and the defeat, she talked kindly and assured me that nothing would separate me from that love, nothing. I was maybe 8 years old. I am 75 now, no longer practice that religion, and have come to my own conclusions about an organizational power with so much wealth, and of the sins of its practices.What her kind words did was to lead me to read and learn as much as I could, about this man who loved me so, down to my soul, and left me with a desire to please God with my existence in HIM. He has been in my life ever since, and I was protected from that day onward by my Faith. All she did was to share her faith and trust in this message, when a kid needed it most, I don't even remember her name, but I am grateful it happened then, and it anchored me when I was in despair. I practice Faith now, not a religion, but if I had not been sent there, and had that experience in that time and place, I shudder to think what may have become of me.
