WTF...... I had no idea our food was being irradiated. This is from the FDA website, which confirms that our food is being irradiated. Supposedly it does not harm but I don't believe that for one second.
Irradiation does not make foods radioactive, compromise nutritional quality, or noticeably change the taste, texture, or appearance of food. In fact, any changes made by irradiation are so minimal that it is not easy to tell if a food has been irradiated.

Like pasteurizing milk and canning fruits and vegetables, irradiation can make food safer for the consumer. Almonds especially. Many root based products cannot be sprouted. Garlic for instance. Organic garlic will grow roots and sprout. Regular garlic sold in those mesh rolls just dry out and rot.
It destroys the nutritional content of the food. In other words, it just fills you up to alleviate your hunger.
Kind of like eating processed dog food without all the inflammatory and parasite feeding extras (assuming you cook your own food).
My 18 year old son got interested in this stuff by watching Instagram channels and then did a truck load of research on his own. He points out any and all toxic food the wife and bring into the house.

But I think it is pretty difficult to convince the general public that raw milk is the way to go, given the current narrative with “experts” debunking its benefits. Hope RFK Jr can find a way to reverse that narrative.
I think there is essentially no safe food left, and no way to get any. Lots will argue to just grow your own, but the seeds have been tampered with too.
Want to raise your own meat? Their food is screwed with, too. We saw huge evidence of that during the pandemic when lots of chickens suddenly stopped laying eggs.

I get nasty IBS from the pasteurized stuff, but when I drink milk fresh from our own dairy cows, I have no problems.

When I first saw "irradiated beef" at Walmart, decades ago, I was highly concerned. But I was 17. What could I say to convince my parents?
In theory, it shouldn't harm ground beef or it's nutritional value. But I've still never bought any, despite being a practicing scientist.
