You may have a point. Good catch! Some time ago, my ISP had DNS issues so I swapped one of theirs for one from Google to hedge my bets. I have just changed that back and I do not need to switch off tracking now.
I also use uBlock Origin. Among other things, it saves all those pesky ads in YouTube!

I know what you mean about Windows. I have installed Linux on a spare laptop but I seem to be rather attached to a stack of Excel macros so I still use Windows for the time being.

It used to work fine, but last couple of week the cloudflare protection is stopping everything but the top few images loading.
Different browsers, on/off VPN, cookies cleared/incognito or even using my cell on 5G (off wifi) it's the same issue

Apparently, according to this site it is due to blocking trackers.
So I found how I turn it off in Firefox (Shield on left of address box) and they seem to have a point.
Turning off advanced tracking for the Sunday Funnies site now shows me all the pictures! Yay!!
