I have a suggestion for him. Go to a company that has an entry level job cleaning toilets. They will hire you. Do as good a job making the toilets as clean as you can. Eventually, you might earn the trust of your employer to a degree that he moves you out of the janitorial position and into something with a little more responsibility, like putting groceries on a shelf or pushing shopping carts into the building from the parking lot. It will take a few years, but be patient for you will learn how to keep your mouth shut so you can collect a paycheck to pay the rent. This is exactly what FAFO means. Love it, learn it, live it.
