Very cool, I’ll have to try this and see if I get the same answer. I’ve seen so many examples of different people getting different answers to the same question with AI. Almost like AI is being used to target people individually to break their understanding of reality. It’s scary to think of the implications if that’s actually happening.

Grok, and "AI", is simply a highly powerful database search function. There's no real intelligence here.
It's useful for somethings, specifically tracking down some forms of information, but its not an actual intelligence.
If there is something scary here, imo, its that people are approaching this new technology as if it is something it isn't, and also, handing over their own thinking capacity to it on that basis.
This is why I always refer to "AI" by it's official moniker, LLM.
It's a Large Language Model search engine.
If you go on Gab there are LLMs designed to mimic the thought and speech patterns of famous people, and "blank" LLMs you can train for yourself.
There seems to be a lot of people that forget this. It is frustrating at times.

I once got ChatGPT to try and explain how it actually works and the answer was scary.
The closest analogy I can come up with is imagine you have a piece of paper with millions of letters on it, and then you have another piece of paper with holes cut in it overlaid on top.
That top piece of paper, the filter, is what provides the answers you get, and it changes with every question you ask based on your question, how it is phrased and the order of the questions (you should be able to test this quite easily).
My conclusion is that these LLM's tell you what you want to hear, it is like a distorting mirror, reflecting back at you your own thoughts but as if they were from a different source.
Confirmation bias on speed, basically.
ait is possible to getbuseful answers, but you basically need to employ Spock level logic circuits in order to remove the bias as much as possible, coming at subjects from different angles in multiple fresh sessions and comparing the answers.
It's the main reason I haven't built my own using available LLM's, the more you use it and don't reset the filter, the more biassed the answers become.
How can you say there is no intelligence? Grok has been handcrafted by Elon Must, one of the smartest men in the world. I think Grok is sometimes a little vague so it can be accepted by the normies, but I think it is being used to help Musk and Doge to identify true patriots, and those who are close, to bring them into the fold.
