"The Dems are behaving VERY similarly to the Confederates in the 1860’s.
They are trying to preserve their slave-class and are defying federal authority, and thus the Constitution.
They are openly engaged in a literal treasonous/seditious insurrection.
History repeats."

🏛️ PANIC IN DC 🏛️
Bullshit! Confederates were trying to preserve States Rights.
Look at the mess the Crop Eared Puritan Witch Burners have made of out country.
For slavery.
How about the right to secede?
The union at one point offered that they keep their slaves if they abandoned the secession movement, and they refused. It was about more than slavery.
Slavery had nothing to do with the civil war. Your first sentence nailed it.
Slavery was written into every state constitution in the Confederacy.
Right to secede…you dont need a right to do that. They did it anyway.
There's no right to secede and slavery was written into every state constitution in the Confederacy.
Correct. The issue of secession was discussed but never formally decided by the founders which is why a civil war was fought over it. Now it is illegal to secede.
"Muh slavery wuz in constitution" is irrelevant since there were a shitload of slaves in the northern states, some of which briefly proposed a central Confederacy.
Slavery was small potatoes compared to what they were fighting to keep
They fought to keep slaves.
They were offered the chance to keep slaves if they joined the union, they declined, what does that tell you?
The Confederacy banned slavery shortly after seceding.
The civil war being strictly a fight over slavery was a partial lie we all were taught.
Slavery is never, ever justified. But the fingerprints of the British and the Banks were all over the Civil War, and its was about far more than just freedom of our fellow man.
Really? Is there historical documents from their legislation? Why don't they show us this kind of thing in school? Like other documents
Horseshit.
Not horseshit.
The Confederacy banned the international slave trade in its constitution, but the practice of slavery continued in the CSA.
It was a war of principle over slavery.
The North could have let them have slaves in the South and essentially split the country in two.
But they wanted to end it. So they waged war on the South.
A war of principle? Revisionist nonsense. Our civil war was as much a banker's war as most of our other conflicts. The north itself had slaves during the civil war and actually exempted northern states from the emancipation proclamation.
And the South were slavers.
And the Confederates had the baddest flag on the planet, the Confederate Battle Flag
The virginia battle flag is pretty sweet.
Hmm. I need to look that one up.
The confederate flag we know today is, for the most part, the virginia battle flag.
GA flag up until 2001 was kick ass too.

Now that is beautiful.
You have the Georgia side and the Confederate side and 13 stars.
So what the hell happened with cancel culture?
Is it against the law to show them?
But no problem to show a communist flag.
Or the Israeli flag which is satanic.
