Its an average of over $40 Million per defendant. These are not small businesses, but are probably major hospitals or national clinics, possibly some online businesses.
Don't forget to get your supplemental part C,D,E,F,G and H!! For everyone that actually thinks Medicare was for folks who worked their whole life and earned it just know without a supplemental plan that you have to pay for then most haven't a choice but to sign their homes away to get health care.
If you think this is bad, wait until you see what private insurance takes from people. They don't even have to break the law, they do it all legally. I'm paying $800+ a month for insurance that has a $7,000 deductible. It is legalized theft. At least in this case, we can go after them.
The real definition of fascism is the control of an economy or a market by a combination of the state and corporations. The domination of the health care industry by the health insurance cartel and the state agencies such as medicare/ medicaid is an example.
We should just get rid of insurance and let the free market decide. Then you can go to any doctor and just pay out of pocket. That might sound untenable, but that is because of the insurance industry's propaganda. All of these procedures should only cost 1/20 of what they charge, especially if we get rid of the onerous requirements for licensing doctors. Seriously, by requiring licenses, there is an artificial supply of doctors. If someone is good at helping others with their healthcare, they should be allowed to open a business and practice. The free market will punish bad healthcare providers. There will be enough providers all around that only the best and cheapest will be able to make it. I know more than my doctor does, but I can't legally help others because of the law. It is weaponized oppression. I think the Great Awakening will do away with all of it. No more insurance because that is a model that is completely based on socialism. Think about it. You pay the same amount for insurance as everyone else, but some people make bad life choices and use it way more. Why should you pay for that? If you get cancer or something, you can just use go fund me. If you are a good person who has worked to build community, you'll have plenty of support.
I agree with much of that. There should be competing accreditation agencies from which consumers can choose standards and track records that suit them. And then consumers can choose health care providers who have been approved by their agency of choice rather than being limited to options approved by the American Medical Association. This can be extended to consumer protection in food and drugs where multiple private agencies can replace the FDA, which has been shown to be prone to corruption because of its violently enforced monopoly.
A cash or pay as you go method of health care procurement should be good enough for most people if we break up the state enforced monopolies and let competition reduce costs. Health insurance might still be a decent option for some people, but it would need to be 100% voluntary and from better options than the oligopoly of companies that were formed by corporate consolidation after obamacare.
That would be great. You can apply this to all kinds of standards. We don't need OSHA. But if a company wants to attract workers, they can be certified by private corporations who are trusted to vet other organizations. The free market will determine what safety standards are most important.
Voluntary socialism is still socialism. Often these requirements start out as voluntary organizations. There is a reason why areas have volunteer fire departments. They seem nice, people think they should get paid, and before you know it, everyone is forced to chip in to pay a bunch of union guys to sit on their buts most of the day. Instead, it should simply be a for profit competative venture. This means that multiple fire departments might show up to a call, and they can negotiate rates for putting out the fire, or if the property owner is a paying subscriber, then their fire department will be putting it out. You can even setup networks where the first responding fire department can put out the fire and then bill the subscriber's fire department. This increased competition would mean there is less waiting, and those who take steps to avoid fires don't have to pay for those who are take more risks.
I like to separate abstract and physical services. Abstract services such as healthcare, education, retirement saving, or charity should all be provided by free market competition. Physical services such as firefighting are trickier for reasons including that fires can spread from one property to another, and that it can be wasteful and dangerous to negotiate fees during a fire. Also, if individuals were to get billed for firefighting services, personal financial attacks would become an increased motive for arson.
The volunteer fire department in my area hasn’t lobbied for taxpayer money or threatened to unionize.
Voluntary socialism such as voluntary insurance or Christian tithing is fine. The problem with socialism is the violence of involuntary socialism, which is effectively the only type on the national level. I sometimes like to call socialists ‘coercionists’ to drive home the point that it is their violence that is the main problem I have with them.

Doesn't this all apply to healthcare as well, especially for an individual with an infectious illness? One person can infect another, negotiating fees and price shopping is dangerous when a person is dying, and the cost of healthcare incentivizes attacks against a person.
The volunteer fire department in my area hasn’t lobbied for taxpayer money or threatened to unionize.
Not yet, but the seed is there. If the area gets more densely populated, suddenly there will be talk about the need for the full time FD.
Also, tithing isn't socialism, it is giving your money to the church. Voluntary socialism will always lead to involuntary socialism. Optional health insurance turned into the individual mandate. You already pay loads of taxes for healthcare for other people. The only way to stop this is to nip it in the butt and outlaw socialist structures in general.
They need to expand their investigation to include fraudulent ACA related claims, too. From what I can gather from my brother's wife, this type of fraud is running rampant throughout the medical billing industry regardless of Medicare/Medic-Aid claims. She was a medical coder/billing agent for a large practice in TN and ended up leaving after being badgered for failing to file fraudulent claims.
If she reports the fraud and the government recovers money, she can get a huge payout depending on how much money they recover. It's a percentage, want to say 10% or more.
They wanted her to file fraudulent claims??! Did she report the practice when she left? Feel free to name and shame them, fren. I'd certainly like to know who it was.
It's about time! For the last two years I have been calling Medicare to report fraud. It happened again today. Southeastern Medequip, Inc, ordered by Ian P Hotchkiss, filed reimbursement claims for "300 Intermittent Urinary Catheters, w/Insertion Supplies". They filed 9 claims, each claim was for $2,790.00. Medicare payed 6 of the claims at $2,187.36 ea. Then Southeastern got brave and filed a claim for wrist braces, knee braces and a back brace in the amount of $6,380.00. Medicare paid $1,783.52 on that one. The total payout for the 10 claims is $14,907.68. That is just for THIS Medicare summery I received today, 24OCT2025. That is for 1 man! Me! I informed the fraud department that I have been peeing just fine, just like I told them the last times. I also dont need wrist, knee and back braces. I want to see all of these company personnel perp walked on an honest national news source.
I knew a guy in Texas that made millions on some sort of motorized cart medicare fraud. He got caught and he killed himself. Really good guy aside from that million dollars in fraud

This is why we shouldn’t have commie shit such as medicare and medicaid in the first place.

👆👆👆👆I DONT CARE until Nancy the Drunkard is behind the BARS none of 👆👆👆this maters
Makes complete sense why the cost of everything & taxes have gotten out of control. All of this stealing is disgusting!!
This and Obamacare is why premiums are skyrocketing.
Obama told you Obamacare would bring down insurance premiums.

We should get that all cleared up and send more to Israel.
