Finally breathed a small sigh of relief once a couple of high school classmates who work there checked in on FB that they were ok but it's still a hell of a gut punch to have this happen here.
When I was about twelve I kept having dreams of a plane crashing into our house. We weren't even in a flight path. A few months later a Navy jet crashed into a house a few blocks away, and the pilot ejected. No one died because most of the houses in that area were summer bungalows. My mother told me she'd be taking my dreams more seriously after that.
In the 80's, pre cell phone also, a passenger jet crashed into my grandmother's area. Part of the engine landed in her yard. My mom, sister and I rushed over to get her and her dogs. It was wild.

TLDR: 2976 is number dead on 9-11, MD-11 is code for 9-11, and 04NOV25 translates to 11+11 (twins + towers side-by-side)
