He was talking about a battery plant.
You have to have some workers who actually know how to make high tech batteries.
I'm a very skilled worker, but I know shit about making batteries myself.
The plant should be hiring and training Americans alongside their workers.
Context is very important and showing a part of a conversation where nobody knows the context of the question is a tactic of the left. You're left up to self interpretation what the conversation is about and then you come to your own misguided conclusion. Ask yourself first, who the fuck is the "leading report"? Then go from there.
My understanding is the people building the plant are bringing in their own trained workers to run it. Their should be a plan,to start training locals.
We also need qualified teachers, especially math teachers.
Maybe Laura Ingraham should have stated her question differently because a super duper majority of corporations are abusing the H1-B Visa and other visas.

The upshot is there is a manufacturing shift in progress. It's our chance to reset at the same time as everyone who got a jump on us.
We dont need college for manufacturing jobs but for rhe tech that produces the stuff we need skilled engineers.

For this Fall, there will be NO requirements for the California State University system. Everyone will be admitted without placement tests or college test scores.
So in 4 years there should either be a lot of drop outs, or they will pass a lot of uneducated social justice warriors with septum rings and pink hair. That is why the educated foreigners are needed. Until the US education system is purged of the Communists running it, only idiot will be graduated from College.

Yes, I can understand training and limited time on the visas. But there are plenty of visa holders working in IT and they are totally unnecessary.
And he just raised the price to hire them moving forward by $100,000 a head. They’ve dominated the field for so long we have to admit there’d be no realistic way to quickly replace them if they all left today because it’s precisely because they dominated that field for so long that so few of us even bothered looking into a career in that field and failed to get educated for it as a result. Making them expensive weeds out hiring them just cause they’re cheap (which is how they came to dominate the field in the first place) while still allowing us to hire truly talented people that would actually make us better and fill the gap for a while until more of we natives enter that field and render them unnecessary.

Were going to be having a rightious reset to our population level, for the most part it will be illegal aliens and criminals leaving the sceene. Trump knows once this happens we trully will need additional skilled employees. My guess is on average about 1/3rd of the population you now see in your area or anywhere for that matter will be gone. Might as well get people in other countries comfortable with the fact that they have a chance at a good life in the US, just be good, assymlate and don't FAFO!

Adding to this is that the criminals are all at the top of their respective feilds, that's why they are able to do the crime because they are at the level needed to make (the crime happen) or, "real change" in, again their respective industry. The education system is crap… the programming of socialist and anti capitalism has been overwhelmingly successful. The lack of any motivation to work or succeed in life… not to mention not teaching anything of real value in the real world. Our labor or work pool is completely unskilled… the retention of training is painful to watch they can’t remember shit nor comprehend shit… they vast majority are just children… we desperately need to tach the young how to think and learn not just repeat the programming
we don't even teach shop or home economics anymore here in California. Many that do find something useful to learn are still not hirable. Trying to make demands they have no right to. Elon addressed this issue about a pink haired idiot that stormed his office demanding a safe space. I believe this is why POTUS encouraged apprenticeships more than school. The only safe space I count on is my own home.
A lot of jobs require very technical skills that a large number of Americans are not capable of learning, based on how little they already know. The youth have been miseducated and don't have the background to learn technical jobs. There is a very large segment of the population who will never be capable of "learning to code," as the Democrats said.
I am able to learn anything, but I am way past going back to work.
Perhaps Trump is trying to goad people into getting better educated. You're not going to take a welfare queen and put her into a tech job successfully. You're not going to take the average store clerk and put them into computer programming or other tech area without years of training.
We have a lot of young talented people working dead end retail jobs in the USA. So there are plenty of talented people already here in the US to pull from.
But I will say that President Trump is correct that making batteries is a highly specialized skill and attracting the best talent so foreign countries can invest in the US is a dual strategy.
Quick thought; did we lose more people to the jab than is reported? Is this going to bring attention to the jab deaths? Maybe in the millions?
