I want it added that you have to own land to vote as well. I don't care if you rent in New York city, you can buy a cheap chunk of dirt in New Mexico if necessary.

There are also idiots who love to proclaim taking voting rights from women is needed. Cuz we are all just a bunch of brainless idiots. I don't own land either anymore. I try, not always successfully, to just ignore the haters. I definitely want our voting system fixed, but I don't see an issue with ANY LEGAL citizen of age voting. Imo, our current problem is the current cheat system plus illegals, not any American VOTING and having their voice heard.
The women I know say that if they're not allowed to vote, they are sure as fuck not paying taxes, either, because that would be taxation without representation.

i am all for repealing the 19th amendment personally but i also want women back in more traditional roles as wives, mothers, and homemakers, like things were before the country got invaded by a bunch of big sniffers fracturing the nuclear family while promoting radical feminism. you know, just as our founding fathers intended, long before the 19th amendment. far left liberalism and progressivism in america has more to do with (especially white) women getting voting rights than anything else. that's the conclusion i came to at least studying american history on my own.
I can be a mom and homemaker while also using my God given brain and vote for sensible things. But I'm also 60 with the benefit of education that was barely influenced by the federal dept of education. I know I can do that because I did that. White liberal women have more issues than just being female. Perhaps it isn't the "female" portion of the equation. Otherwise, there would be no idiotic libtard MEN who believe the same idiotic shit.
Guess I just break the mold then. I know I'll shoot if necessary to protect my kids or family bc I've been in that situation before and I wasn't aiming to hurt. That was originally one of the requirements to vote. It was one method used to prevent blacks from voting as few owned land.

are you suggesting limiting voting to land ownership is a good idea? because it is not a good idea at all even though some states adopted such early on, there is a reason it was never federally accepted

I see the spirit of your comment... it's common knowledge that renters have no stake in the area they are renting in, so they can vote in new taxes and trails and whatever they want, and once the taxes get out of control, they can easily move out and leave you with the bills.
I'm not sure how to solve the issue though.
