This country has been at war through every decade I lived in, I was born in 1950. Being anti government is also an instinctual American flex, not to the point of insurrection, but in the terms of trusting the Government of the USA to do the right thing by the people of America. I think using war with foreign countries, or backing the USA in its constant money pouring into supporting other peoples fight, is a poor test of patriotism. If we were attacked overtly from another nation, I do think we would see patriotism from all walks of people. Its the silent and covert wars, which we are not privy to, that keeps me up at night. Our country has lost so many men for no cause at all, and when I did protest war, it is for them, not the other, young men fighting for old mens wars, which do nothing except support the corrupt military industrial complex. Name me one war that was good for our country since 1950, or was not lied about or coerced by the CIA. I will wait.
When America is in a dispute with another country the Dems and Media will ALWAYS side with the other country. Yesterday was Somalia. Today is Venezuela.
