Really hoping to make it that long. Christmas has depleted any last little savings I had left. Not gonna lie, shits looking kinda bleak! Praying for that big change everyone needs
When I married my current husband I was working making not a whole lot a year. He was in the middle of a divorce which she drug on for no reason other than to hurt him because they were fighting over nothing but debt.
He had two child support orders, one to the first and second wife and alimony to the second. Before you judge the two women cheated on him is why he left. His paychecks were dismal at best.
Every month I gave to three charities I think $25 each a month. One day I came home and said to him God told me I have to give all three of my charities $100 each.
He looked at me like I was absolutely crazy and said where do you think we can come up with that kind of money. He then said I trust what you are feeling in your heart.
I said I don't know but I'm going to do it because God told me to do it.
Three days after I sent the checks I received a phone call from the place that I purchased my used vehicle about a week or so before.
They said they forgot to give me something when I took my used car home.
They told me to come by and pick up my Visa credit card for $300.
Agreed. A lot of people were hoping by summer they could get some sort of relief. Groceries, gas, bills, etc. And it didn’t happen. Many have folded. Heard some of those stories right here in these forums. We hear the words, golden age, we see the excitement of “the best yet to come” but as far as the average American feeling it, that hasn’t happened. I’ve asked this question to many people. They are hopeful. People are holding on, best they can. I do hope that this next year really brings the relief they need. Starting January 1st. I feel all the ducks are aligned. Just gotta get some of these criminals in positions outta the way.
Hang in there frens. The Trump Team is not just working this from one angle, they are working it from all angles. The perfect storm. Even though some prices have been creeping down, most of 2025 was spent setting things up for the go-go years of 2026 and beyond.
The real cause of inflation is money for nothing. Welfare, grants, fraud, cash and other free benefits to illegals. I think illegal removal will triple (at least) in 2026. The Trump Team is attacking inflation from all angles.
Technically, we are already at full employment according to how the Fed looks at it. But people don’t feel like it. The headline number will slowly get better, but the number of Americans jobs replacing foreigner jobs is going to rapidly get better. Wages will significantly outpace inflation. Lots of help wanted signs and busy times for job recruiters.
Growth: right now we are at about 4% which is normally very good, but we are going higher. Maybe in the neighborhood of double digits. Depending on the spending of all that tariff deal based investment money. I am expecting $3T in 2026. The current US GDP is $30T. The last quarter of 2025 numbers may look a little strange because of the shutdown but don’t worry.
Some major arrests might boost the morale and give us a sign that things are heading in the right direction. A nice little early Christmas present if you will lol
Hopefully you can hang in there, it might be/is difficult-but our great president has something in mind for America, and his plan is unfolding. Slower than most people would like, but it is a LARGE job and he is doing (with his team/administration) the best they can.

You never go in debt for Christmas ever.
When I was young with two children and had very little money this is how I did Christmas.
Starting in August or September I would buy a present once a week or every other week depending on my cash flow.
I would wrap them when I purchased them.
By November my Christmas shopping was done and wrapped.
Not taking any debt, just uncomfortable to lose the last little cushion I had left. God always provides I know that
You are correct.
Every time I did not have something by the grace of God and God alone it showed up
Keep the faith.
I just thought of a story.

Can't wait!
