GREAT FOR THE KID IN US
Hey Ya'll I was sent this video and the message below. Check it out and pass it along. IT IS WORTH THE WATCH
"Pastor Jack, I assume you constantly receive things that others believe you should read or view. And there is also a good chance you have already viewed this 12 minute short film that I am forwarding to you. Last night I was in Los Angeles as a guest of my friends, the creators, for a theater showing of this film, and the gentleman sitting next to me (on the staff of Babylon Bee) brought up your name and your great work.
Here is the short story on Forevergreen. It is an 8 year side project of two Disney animators who are bold Christians, and 200 others in the industry that volunteered to make this film. It has now emerged as one of 5 Oscar finalists for short, animated film. The amazing part is that it could be described as an animated Bible tract. It subtly weaves the story of the prodigal son.
If you have not watched it, please do, pass it to others, and pray for it to win. - Tim"
The prodigal son... great record. Once a teacher taught it as the parable of the forgiving Father. Never forgot how that struck me as coming from the point of the father who forgives rather than the son who sinned. One line was, we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God but only one Consistemtly without fail forgives and fully restores, our Heavenly Father.
