How old is this movie? If any of the people who made it are still alive, we should find them and question them. If the Disney sickness goes back that far, people need to know.
No. Ever heard the concept of once you have sex you’re no longer a child. Or ‘you’re a woman now’, or virginity lost = transition into manhood or woman hood.
Back in the 1990's, Walt Disney World in Florida used to have a park called "Pleasure Island" which actually had several nightclubs for young people. Disney later renamed it to Downtown Disney, probably because it was way too obvious a reference to Pinocchio, and people were starting to google stuff back then.

1940 is the film date; only one I could find that fit the above cartoon.
Thanks. They're all gone then. Sick.
Question? I think you meant public beating?
So if I think about this with todays climate, he's essentially abducting boys by luring them to the island and they return as "not boys".
So they're sex changing the kids they abduct for trafficking. They arrive one gender and "if" they leave, its another.

Wasn't their a song along those lines?
I think it was in a Parenting film...
"Girl, you'll be a woman soon."
Song by Urge Overkill
Goes back a little further than that.
Neil Diamond 1967.
or they become 'jerky'
It was creepy...
But not as creepy as this My little jellybean...
Rick returns and wastes him..I refuse to watch them anymore after discoveries...
Fair call, I remember a show called Superstore kept making jokes about eating babies. Stopped watching after noticing a few things like that.
You know it was a book before a movie, right?
