"Free Universal Daycare" in NY proposed by Hochul and Mamdani
The program would cost $4.5b, an increase of $1.7b from the city’s current Pre-K for all for 4-year-olds and “3-K” preschool program for 3-year-olds. The new money would shore up those programs and create a new childcare system for 2-year-olds. NYC’s current school budget is $33b.
Even if they DID do this with taxpayer money, how are we going to be sure that it's what the money is spent on. People need to push back on all this crap.

This is the answer. The cost is irrelevant because it buys a new generation of brainwashed voters.
A stay at home mom is worth around $75k/yr. It makes no sense for women to work. As a bonus your kids don't become indoctrinated drones.
Problem is, in our area, it is so hard to make a high enough income. I'm going to school for cybersecurity (lol while the job market is terrible for right now, but I think it will pick up), so that my husband can just stay home. What I am worried about is being able to retire because we are lower middle class. It conflicts within me because i don't want to sell out for the rothschild system, but I also don't want our children to be impoverished like we were as kids. It is a hard decision right now.
It's hilarious that Hochul doesn't know Mamdani will use it to turn ALL schools into Madrassas.
I think the root cause would be stop giving these communist evil assholes access to our kids. If we can afford to stay home and take care of the kids while husband works, or wife works, we should be doing that as a society. Recently, I made the decision to homeschool my daughter, because I don't want her brainwashed with this evil shit. We need to do our part to resist the devil, so we can show him that he's not welcome here. We just need to have enough good people resisting this. Because if this is successful in new york city, then it is going to spread.
I can't see anything becoming successful in New York. Marxists do manage to turn everything to shit--the reverse Midas touch.

Yea, that won't happen in NYC. It's all about the children and giving them a great first step in life. Too bad the moneybwont be enough and in a year or two Mamdani will be hiking the taxes again.....for the children.

This is simply more universal school choice, which I've been posting warnings about on this board for years. If the government funds it, then they will enact oversight of it...whether that's a preschool, the private schools who take voucher money, or "homeschools" which take school choice funding.
I do not co-parent with the government.
