What's fascinating to me is the decline in conversation on reddit between this post (7 years ago) and now. To me it's jaw dropping how obvious the present day narrative is non-natural in comparison.
I heard Roger Avary on Joe Rogan recently half jokingly float the idea he thought TPTB had activated mind control in the masses via subliminal messages (kind of like the advertisement in Halloween 3) and drove the world literally insane. There may be something to that, judging by reddit.

"My honest opinion is that like with many public debates, this is a manufactured controversy designed to reinforce in-group mentality and identity among their targets core/base audience.
