California has a very strange system. It's called the jungle primary. And in most states, you have at the final election, the final ticket is one Republican, one Democrat. But in California, the top two candidates from either party are on the ballot in the final election. And right now, the two finalists would have been two Republicans.
And then one of them, Chad Biano, former sheriff in Riverside County, and Steve Hilton, former conservative commentator on Fox News. One of those two would have been the governor of California because not a single Democrat would have been on the ballot. So the Democrats had to take one of them out and none of them wanted to step down to then funnel all of those votes to the other Democrat, so that they could at least have a Democrat on the ballot.
Chad Biano has according to the most current polls 14% of the votes. Steve Hilton also has 14% of the votes. Eric Swallwell has 11% of the votes. Katie Porker 7% and Tommy Styer 11%. And again, none of them were willing to drop out. And so the Democrat party decided to take one of them out in order to then funnel all of those votes to another Democrat candidate who will then be above the 14% that Steve Hilton and Chad Biano have. thus getting a Democrat on the ballot for the final race. Swalwell is getting "Me too'd" for this very reason.

Hilton has the Trump endorsement. Chad Bianco will probably be the running mate.
Pretty sure his name will still be on the ballot. Plenty of libtards will still vote for him. I hope it’s enough to put Hilton and Bianco on top of the ballot.
Nah. Fartswell was a hit job. His name was removed before the allegations surfaced. Im just curious why he needed to go, not trump deranged enough?
Likely because he became a liability - too many skeletons in his closet: potential campaign, immigration and sexual harrassment/rape charges not to mention the spy/leaks to Fang Fang situation, to risk having one or more of those things take him out at an "inopportune time"
Besides Demoncrats when they want to get rid of someone they destroy the candidate they want out like Fartswell

Swalwell is THE most creepy federal politician I can think of. I have a strong negative reaction every time I see him. And the man should DEFINITELY be given a vacation to Gitmo.

Do not celebrate this. This outcome is a loss for the Republicans. This result will consolidate the Dem vote, knocking at least one of the GOP candidates out of the top 2. So, instead of a Republican versus Republicans for the race for governor of California. It will now place a Democrat in the race, which they will easily win due to cheating.

Kinda disappointing as his positive sentiment seemed pretty sticky from what I was seeing. Seems like a lot of energy/money/attention being put into Xavier Becerra. Don't think the establishment feels great about Porter.
