click the pencil -> -> now you can manipulate the website-address
replace x.com with nitter.net
when ok, click the link again.
enjoy.
Of course, you can use a texteditor to achieve the same result see regular browser
On regular browser:
copy paste link into a wordpad or geany
change x.com into nitter.net
copy paste new link into browser -> enjoy.
Not recommended due to turning browser into unique fingerprint:
install as an addon: LibRedirect
go into manage extensions and set those redirects to on which you require. Test the links/ redirects.
Learn howto selfhost. i.e. you can start with Raspberry Pi or an old laptop.
Note: you could use a hosts file to create your own redirects .... but it may cause an ssl-certificate mismatch, which then needs addressing. It also takes away the choice to use x.com links if you so desire, and may impact certain websites from showing content correctly.
Nitter link pls twitter won't let me view images without being logged in

right click on image. "Open image in new tab" or on mobile "Preview image"
This has been a standard feature in browsers for about 2 decades
Can’t right click on mobile.
On the other hand, can click “x.com” or go to the “m” in the mobile URL, 5 backspaces, and type “nitter.poast.org”.
holding on your finger down on the image or text on mobile is the same as right click.
Holy fuck I guess I need to teach a basic tech class.
Heh, facepalm, and also, no need for the rudeness.
I do know that full well in practice, and it wasn’t giving the typical response in browser for some reason at the time, which helped the derp moment.
Apologies for the derp, and there’s no need to be so…. whatever a good word for that is.
Twitter is so stupid that trick doesn't work

A easy way for ALL X links is just replace X.com with nitter.net... 😁
Oh, is that why? Used to be able to see full sized content.
