I was once a member of an organization called International Federation for Victory Over Communism. The concept was that anti-communism will only get you so far. To defeat communism, you MUST have a framework that offers an alternative that correctly identifies the flaws in Marxist theory and then addresses the causes of the problem Marx uses to create his false doctrine. You have to give an alternative that is superior, not simply be 'anti-'.
The same is true today. Don't be anti-imperialism, make something that transcends it, supersedes it, and works without it.
Because getting stuck in the 'anti-' mode plays into their game: divide and conquer.
Realize that their whole paradigm is the problem, and then do something outside of that. Which is something America was created to highlight: a completely NEW way of men and women defining themselves and their government.

But the level of violence to make World War ii happen that quickly resulted in massive death on all sides, the ruination of Europe and China, and the creation of a huge Communist hegemony in Europe and Asia. I suppose it had to happen, but we should never forget the cost. (My father was part of convoys throughout the war, lucky to survive. After the Japanese surrender, he was able to walk through the ruins of Nagasaki. Extremely sobering experience.)
