Makes sense now. Part of the expansion with the ballroom is a control center to control these drones and possibly additional security measures.
My guess is that as Trump has been cleaning up more and more parts of the government, the only option left for Cabal (not just now but in future) is to outright attack the white house to take out the president.

While this is a shit post, I would worry about remote hacking/takeover.

This is why you have multiple independent drone system. If one gets hacked and goes rogue, the other drones can hunt them down. True separation of powers. We could have executive drones, legislative drones, and judicial drones.

This image is certainly an AI image. (Center drone is a mismatch, And there is no roof yet...) But, of course the White House will have a droneport of some sort. Without the offensive/defensive/surveillance aspect of drone tech, they are left with simply repulsing any attack on the WH.
