You forgot Mel Gibson. The thing about this one were the claims it would bring about a massive falling away of the faithful. Never intended to see it. Glad it's demonstrated what we already know. Only God creates.
I'm not going to see it. No interest. am so completely sick of manipulative films and way way past a Spielberg movie affecting how I feel about anything. I keep remembering the suspicions about the man Spielberg and the Poltergeist girl. It was quite real to me because she went to school with my daughter and all the parents heard a lot of truth about how she was. Anyway, it did ruin Spielberg movies for me.
Scratching my head at a lot of the comments here. We dont get out to the movies often and I didn't know there was any kind of drama surrounding it before we went in. Saw one trailer and was like, "that looks cool". Whereas, i see a trailer of the Odyssey and I'm not touching that steaming pile with a 10ft pole.
What really shocked me was they made a case for the existence of both God and aliens in the movie.
Im not saying go see it, but seeing a lot of comments that are reaching for things I just didn't see.
Just from the trailer - deception seems to be a big part of the alien phenomenon. There is also a “trust me bro” vibe that seems to surround the phenomenon as well. Accounts on this board have posted that the aliens are here to help us, they’re saving us from ourselves— and not a single one of them has any way to determine if that’s true or not.
I'm glad it helped him/her but I am just a humble anon here and all them eloquent wordy tales just seem to make what they are saying hard to understand. I never was much a reader of poetry either. :-)
Read C.S. Lewis Mere Christianity. Lewis eloquently introduces what has been called a "God-shaped hole" in the human spirit. Or as St Augustine put it “Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it finds its rest in thee.” Augustine knows of what he speaks - he was a world-class playboy until his thirties, at which point he understood peace is not found in the pursuit of worldly pleasures.
I listened to a Spielberg fan critique of the movie. From his description, it was a total failure.
Seems like the psyop isn’t ‘psyoping’ anymore.
Great awakening. You are the news now.
They don’t make good movies these days, at least not the regular studios. Angel Studios and Clint Eastwood are about the only decent movies.

If it were possible maybe…
Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
If you’re actually faithful you are protected.
Oh yes, you are right. Thanks for reminding me.

Better than a traditional movie critique.
Disclosure day was a nod to anons.
At the very end, the disclosure was made up of UFO clips.
What is the government releasing right now.
I saw disclosure day. It sucked. Better off watching close encounters.

Maybe I'm jus t old and cranky but everything he said in that LETTER I could have said in 1 paragraph. IMO
It was perfect to feed to someone whose eyes have yet to fully open. My newly budding anon said "Wow!"

Go ahead. Give us the tl;dr
People are PROGRAMMED to not believe in God but in the end, God wins.
There it is without all the dribble. Yeah, I am cranky! Kek
