They’ve been issuing similar warnings for years long before AI. I imagine they’ve switched to warning about AI. Because AI is the boogeyman that seems to actually motivate people to actually do something.
But the backend’s of many Governments and Corporations are Frankenstein monstrosities ranging from absolute ancient tech to cutting edge modern. Held together by IT departments operating off of Caffeine, Stress, Spite, adhoc patch jobs, duct tape and IT black magic.
Apparently, the "Intel Agencies" can't deliver on the Space Alien threat... so they've reverted back to AI threat.
What's next? Sea Level Rise? Global Warming?
We all know who's really behind it.
What's the world going to do & how will Intel agencies justify their existence, when all the tried and true, reliable & historical boogiemen are eliminated?
What then?
Modern society it seems, REQUIRES a "bad guy" or some credible threat to move agendas along on the geopolitical chessboard.
The name of the game has ALWAYS been about access to and controlling of, critical resources. Oil, minerals and other key things that come out of the ground...We want them - you don't deserve them... we're gonna take them.
That essentially boils it all down kids. Oh, and the "We" isn't your government, but the oligarchy that maintains control over your govt, intel agencies, power and control.
Same as it ever was... Don't be fooled.
That guy is full of dung. Trump put people like David Sacks, Michael Kratsios, and Chris Wright in key positions who do understand AI.
When I read the headline, and I thought of the "RUMORS & PROPAGANDA" THANGS the Upper Echelon wanted us to understand before being deployed, AND THIS WAS ONE OF THE BIGGIES!!!!!!
I just get a chuckle out of what these news fags are producing now, and it ain't very much...just a bunch of mouths moving to get the next headline!!!!!!
