Hey, little girl, is your daddy home?
Did he go away and leave you all alone?
I got a bad desire
Oh, oh, oh, I'm on fire
[Verse 2]
Tell me now, baby, is he good to you?
And can he do to you the things that I do?
Oh no, I can take you higher
Oh, oh, oh, I'm on fire
[Bridge]
Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby, edgy and dull
And cut a six-inch valley through the middle of my skull
[Verse 3]
At night, I wake up with the sheets soakin' wet
And a freight train runnin' through the middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
Oh, oh, oh, I'm on fire
Oh, oh, oh, I'm on fire
Oh, oh, oh, I'm on fire
Its one of the sad things - he made such patriotic sounding songs, but is a nsty pos. Haven't been able to listen to his songs for a couple years now, even though sometimes I nostalgically crave to listen to born in the usa or streets of philadelphia.
Well, Born in the USA is not exactly a patriotic song. It's more of a Vietnam protest song. I'm not knocking him for that per se, Charlie Daniels had a huge hit with his Vietnam protest song, Still in Saigon. But Charlie was a true patriot, and didn't over charge his fans to come hear him sing. Bruce is a "every man, common Joe" poser who can't say enough bad things this great nation and the people who truly want to make it better, and doesn't mind tapping his fans with his ticket prices.
He was a jerk in tha 70s. Lotta his backstage media hung out in tha green room eatin and drinkin FREE while he was onstage. One of those guys that believed his own hype.
I NEVER liked his music. All the way back to Born in the USA
I knew next to nothing back then...but could smell that retard from a mile away it seems...Must be a Jersey thing.

Same - no redeeming qualities to his voice, his looks or his "persona" - dont know how he became famous.
Thatβs antisemitic.
lol.
Ooh, right.. I was wracking my brain trying to think of any of his songs anyway. Lol. It is odd, I never really like that song either. Hmm
I already turn his music OFF.
Bruce music = change the radio station. Even listening to a commercial is preferable.

is that his original content? I'm a youngin but I always wondered if it was a weird fucko that wrote that
Springsteen wrote the lyrics.

He basically profited off patriotism, while subverting it at every opportunity he had. Oy vey.
As Boonies pointed out below, he is a typical chosenite degenerate.

Born down in a dead man's town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
You end up like a dog that's been beat too much
'Til you spend half your life just covering up
Born in the U.S.A.
I was Born in the U.S.A.
I was Born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A. now
I got in a little hometown jam
So they put a rifle in my hands
Sent me off to a foreign land
To go and kill the yellow man
Born in the U.S.A.
I was Born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A.
I was Born in the U.S.A.
Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man says, "Son, if it was up to me"
Went down to see my V.A. man
He said, "Son, don't you understand?" now
I had a brother at Khe Sahn
Fighting off the Vietcong
They're still there, he's all gone
He had a woman in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms now
Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I'm ten years down the road
Nowhere to run and got nowhere to go
Born in the U.S.A
I was Born in the U.S.A
Born in the U.S.A
I'm a long gone daddy in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A
Born in the U.S.A
I'm a cool rocking daddy in the U.S.A. Now
I read a comment that back-in-the day he was a unifier. Now he's just a mf'er.
Ellen...kek.
"Glory Days''
I wonder if Bruce drives a Subaru..
Likely.
This isn't a particularly hard pledge to keep :)
He is such a fag!
