Does anyone here remember Graham supporting Biden on immigration? Anyone remember how much he despised Trump in the first election? How he turned on him during the JANUARY 6 debacle?
Graham also voted to certify the 2020 election and said, “Enough is enough.” For many Trump supporters, that was the defining moment.
Remember how Graham never saw a war he didn’t like? How he was called “Lady G” by the sex workers he hired, but despised by the LBGQT community because he was never on their side legislatively?
Many speculated he was blackmailed for his private life and that Graham was aligned with intelligence agencies or was influenced by them. This idea gained traction because of his strong support for national security agencies, surveillance powers, and interventionist foreign policy.
He wasn’t a populist. He cared nothing about voters, and was despised by people from his own state. He was more aligned with the Senate itself and the committees he served on.
He tolerated Trump because Trump was in power and Graham always aligned himself with power. But it wouldn’t surprise me if he secretly despised Trump.

There always HAVE been single men supporting their extended families, as I can attest from genealogical research. People claim they were all gay just b/c they didn't marry??
We didn't use to look at single men and single women as homos! It is a disservice to place that interpretation on their lives.

Not now. There are too many weirdos out there in the dating world. Finding a "normal" person (male or female) isn't easy these days. Some people choose to remain single rather than settle for a weirdo.
We'll agree to disagree. I meet people all of the time that are just wonderful. Of course I am married and so won't be dating them. But I do meet people that I would find suitable. But then, I like peoole and am not looking for faults and I forgive imperfections. If by weirdo, you mean criminal or hateful people, I would suggest it is as easy to find them as ever, and that is just the way it is. I've been good at surrounding myself with non hateful people irl, so that may skew my estimations. I live in a city of half a million people, so that helps.
If I went by online personalities, yeah I'd be convinced people are worse than ever.
I find it easier to trust peoole that are desireable to other people. If someone is a loner, there's a reason. And as much as loners pretend that reason is because they are to moral or otherwise good for everyone else, that is not the reason.
I'm also married.
Perhaps, my daughter's standards are higher. She requires someone who is gainfully employed (as is she). She wants someone who does not have a string of divorces or baby mamas. A level of education comparable to her own is desirable (as it serves neither party to have nothing in common).
A non-smoker, non-drug taker, and someone who drinks occasionally at social gatherings (and not to excess). She wants someone who is unencumbered by huge amounts of existing debt (as is she). It goes without saying he has to be a nice person with a strong sense of family and hopefully religious convictions.
She is also not interested in anyone with piercings, flamboyant dyed hair or, tatooted.
She would, she asserts, rather remain unmarried than settle for less.
AND...I am sure there are young men with equally high standards that are unwilling to settle for less than what they want. The issue is finding that person.
I know multiples of men and women that fit her description of desireable. Hopefully she gets out there and finds the one she's looking for. Hopefully she's pro social, and hopefully she's willing to be happy until she finds her favorite. I'm sure it will happen. We never liked him, we just tolerated him cause Trump said he was a "good guy and his friend". But Why would a US Senator from South Carolina be in Ukraine? He has been a Senator for over 23 years so we all know he has "Dirty hands"....

Governor will pick his replacement and they will serve for the remainder of his current term.
A Special Republican Primary Election will be held to determine who runs in the General Election in November.
