Well it's going to be a lot of fun sending my grand daughter to school when it's pitch dark outside this winter, and a lot of people here in the north will be going to work in the dark, it will raise overhead costs for us during winter too because the buildings will take longer to heat up in the mornings. Not to mention people having to drive into town for work when it's dark out.
Maybe this is good for most of you but those of us who's winter temps can and do reach well below zero it's not so great.
You know what, get the schools tonstart an hour later in the winter. In fact get all business to shift one hour. sleep stays intact and everybody can be happy.
Thank you. If that means the kids go to school in the dark the start school an hour later. Saftey is on you if u see the problem and dont fix it. An entire nation doesnt need to bend for that crap. In fact all of society can shift the winter work schedules and everything by an hour if you want to fix the daylight issue.
I would love this, but c'mon. Do they think this is going to distract us from all they should be doing but aren't? Wait a minute, of course they do. And sadly, they're probably not wrong.
I’m all for keeping as it is now. But, we lived with out changing it since the beginning of time. I honestly don’t know when it started. I’m 59 & it’s all I remember. Hawaii and a little section of southern Illinois (I think) doesn’t change the time. I find it odd for Hawaii, I would think they want it light later to enjoy being outside.
I always hear it's for the kids too... so they don't go to school in the dark. it's funny because that's the #1 reason I hear for changing the clocks. That's not even the original reason it started! Don't you think the kids would rather have another hour to play outside in the snow or yard instead of coming home and it's dark? Let them play!!!! I would love to have another hour of light in the evening so I can drive home and not slip slide around, so I can go to the store on my way home and not stress about going home in the dark (astigmatism), also so I can let the dogs out into the yard later than 5pm to go poo!!! I hate that their last time out has to be 4:55 or 5pm!!!! We are in predator country, and I would love to be able to see in the yard so I can make sure they are safe to go poo!!! That hour of daylight in the evening would be so appreciated at our house!!!
Ironically this in itself may end up being a Q proof, as we discover future Q proofs that have already taken this time change into account with their timestamps or drop numbers.
At this point... really? This is what we are doing? Country falling apart, people losing everything every day... and this is what we are patting our selves on the back for? I don't think there is a single person in congress worth a damn anymore....
Just please make Standard Time permanent, not the fake Daylight Savings Time that started the mess to begin with.
If this passes I won't have to save up day light for the dark months. 😂😂😂

Yeah, I, probably the minority, but I like the time shift. I'd rather have that daylight in the morning and the longer sunsets in the summer.

Don’t forget the pets & babies that are still on the time before the change. That can really f you up if you aren’t a morning person 🙋🏻♀️
