There were also reports of shootings of people who tried to leave, bodies were buried in unmarked graves. They stole up to $12 billion dollars with fraudulent claims
The reason they would lock these people in houses and fake treatment centers and feed them drugs was because the longer they could keep the patient, the longer they could bill Medicaid

Chances are that the same stuff is occurring at 10X the scale in Los Angeles and San Francisco. That's why the homeless and drug addiction problem is so bad.
California scams both ends of the issue... once to get Federal money for treating the drug addicts (that never receive treatment, but stay addicted)... and a second time for "solving the homeless crisis" that is unending. CUT OFF ALL FEDERAL FUNDING for either. Let the states pay for fake treatments... and homelessness and before long, those states will find workable solutions.
