Maybe the poster had a fat finger, or a bad internet connection, and he kept hitting the post button because it seemed like nothing was happening.

Why do we have to see gay porn in the middle of government testimony?🤣😂🤡

Notice that the Pledge of Allegiance is to the united states of America and not to the United States (federal government).

Thanks for teaching me a new word!

In professional wrestling, kayfabe, as a verb, is the portrayal of staged events within the industry as "real" or "true", specifically the portrayal of competition, rivalries, and relationships between participants as being genuine and not staged. The term kayfabe has evolved to also become a code word of sorts for maintaining this "reality" within the direct or indirect presence of the general public.[1]

Kayfabe, in the United States, is often seen as the suspension of disbelief that is used to create the non-wrestling aspects of promotions, such as feuds, angles, and gimmicks in a manner similar to other forms of fictional entertainment. In relative terms, a wrestler breaking kayfabe during a show would be likened to an actor breaking character on-camera. Also, since wrestling is performed in front of a live audience, whose interaction with the show is crucial to its success, kayfabe can be compared to the fourth wall in acting, since hardly any conventional fourth wall exists to begin with. In general, everything in a professional wrestling show is to some extent scripted, or "kayfabe", even though at times it is portrayed as real-life.

Kayfabe was fiercely maintained for decades, but with the advent of the Internet wrestling community, and the sports entertainment movement, the pro-wrestling industry has become less concerned with protecting so-called backstage secrets and typically maintains kayfabe only during the shows. It is occasionally broken during shows, usually when dealing with genuine injuries during a match or paying tribute to wrestlers.

Arkansas is like number 49 or 50 on lists of good things in the States. I expect that Sarah will make some huge improvements!

How does anyone become a US citizen if they were not born overseas and issued a consular record of birth?

The passport says United States of America and lists that as the nationality.

Even an immigrant who takes the oath becomes a citizen of the United States of America (and not citizen of the United States). If "United States" and "United States of America" were identical, they would not have to mention them separately:

8 USC §1449. Certificate of naturalization; contents

A person admitted to citizenship in conformity with the provisions of this subchapter shall be entitled upon such admission to receive from the Attorney General a certificate of naturalization, which shall contain substantially the following information: Number of application for naturalization; number of certificate of naturalization; date of naturalization; name, signature, place of residence, autographed photograph, and personal description of the naturalized person, including age, sex, marital status, and country of former nationality; location of the district office of the Service in which the application was filed and the title, authority, and location of the official or court administering the oath of allegiance; statement that the Attorney General, having found that the applicant had complied in all respects with all of the applicable provisions of the naturalization laws of the United States, and was entitled to be admitted a citizen of the United States of America, thereupon ordered that the applicant be admitted as a citizen of the United States of America; attestation of an immigration officer; and the seal of the Department of Justice.

United States of America is a member of the United Nations, not the United States.

8 USC fails to define United States as the 50 states of the Union. By what operation of law does a birth certificate from a state of the Union prove birth in the United States?

Tax laws apply to U.S. citizens and not to U.S.A. nationals.

The form to give up nationality is entitled OATH/AFFIRMATION OF RENUNCIATION OF NATIONALITY OF UNITED STATES

What do I know, I am not a lawyer or politician!

Every time you read about the Federal government doing something in one of the 50 states of the Union, it is necessary to read the actual laws and see if they took the time to define 'State' and 'United States' to include the 50 states. If they didn't, it is a municipal law for DC and the federal territories.

4 U.S. Code § 71 - Permanent seat of Government

All that part of the territory of the United States included within the present limits of the District of Columbia shall be the permanent seat of government of the United States.

4 U.S. Code § 72 - Public offices; at seat of Government

All offices attached to the seat of government shall be exercised in the District of Columbia, and not elsewhere, except as otherwise expressly provided by law.

Internal Revenue Code relating to petroleum excise taxes

26 U.S. Code § 4612 - Definitions and special rules

(4) United States

(A) In general

The term “United States” means the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, any possession of the United States, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands.

Internal Revenue Code relating to employment taxes NOTE that they do not mention the 50 states here, therefore not otherwise provided by law!

26 U.S. Code § 3121 - Definitions

(e) State, United States, and citizen

For purposes of this chapter— (1) State

The term “State” includes the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa.

(2) United States

The term “United States” when used in a geographical sense includes the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa.

The federal government should be so small it cannot do anything beyond 1:8:17. Finding other ways to do this extraneous, illegal things beyond direct taxation of the people is wrong. The current size of the Federal government needs reduced.

2
Archon69 2 points ago +3 / -1

No. Simply enforce the IRS code as written. It mentions the 50 states for petroleum excise taxes, but fails to refer to them for employment taxes. Direct taxation of people in the states of the Union is illegal unless apportioned across the population. The federal government can make enough money off customs duties and excise taxes to support its limited constitutional duties (which do not include education, welfare payments, supporting wetbacks or Ukraine).

Pronouns are for talking about someone in the 3rd person. Have you ever used a pronoun when you and someone else are the only people in the conversation?

What good is a warning? What good is an If-Then statement without the Then? Abbott should spell out the consequences. Texas should militarize the border where there are no federal checkpoints and start shooting the invaders.

Illegal alien is a term direct from federal law. It still offends some people.

I much prefer to use the everyday term 'wetback'!

Now we can discuss whether to call them wetbacks or undocumented immigrants.

Biden is incompetent to be President.

Kamala's parents were citizens of India and Jamaica at the time of her birth, and so she fails the natural born citizen test.

Speaker of the house is next in line to be President, hence all the fighting now over who gets to be Speaker.
