If God is real. Then this is the way my friend. If you don’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah and believing he died, rose and now sits next to God in heaven then you will end up in Hades. There is no room for other false gods or false prophets. It is black and white.
True inner peace and happiness is living with Christ inside oneself. Yes, it is partially going inside oneself to prayer for answers of true identity. The answer to those prayers is Christ in Lord and the mercy, grace, & love He brings.
The Bible is a giant Q board: clues to the answer. Some of the clues are very on the nose while other’s require research, sacrifice & divine revelation; revelation in the form of coincidence, perfect place/perfect time, exact person to help u on ur path, etc.

Great job man. I quit 3 years ago. If you can stay sober for one full year then you are set. Alcoholics Anonymous says that those that can’t stay sober for a full year are suffering from alcoholism. If you find you can’t do it on your own AA and God are two great resources. It’s harder then you think to untrained your brain from something you’ve been doing for years and years. Don’t get frustrated if you fail; get real and get help.
