I get your point, and you (kind of) read my mind. In thinking about faking it, I realized I don’t even know how, hence the question. Submission really isn’t an option, though.

How will employers know? What will need to be provided as proof?

When they start threatening, reporting (to “authorities”), and harassing, I give two shots if they’re misguided - they’re definitely the enemy.

Waiting on mine. Some folks say they need to wash or dry first. Any truth to this, or are they plug and play?

I think we’re at the point where if something that dramatic happens, all bets are off - anything is possible.

That’s the beauty (or ugliness) of it - it’s just vague enough. If he meant until the next presidential election, why not say it? I personally think he meant just that, but it’s vague enough that folks can take it as a coded message. If he was going to tweet the number of days, he would probably do it this way; but if he was going to code a message that made sense w/o being an obvious message, he’d do the same damned thing.

Tell me about it. Every time you think something is settled, there’s an ambiguous little wrinkle....

I’m not arguing m, but it’s weird how different people are coming up with different dates. Looking at online calculators, it seems it depends on whether you count the final day as one of the days. Personally, I think he’s just posting the days until the next election, but nothing is inarguably straightforward about this stuff, is it?

I've checked a couple of different calculators that say that 1384 days is 11/5/24, which would be election day. Where is all the 11/3 and 11/4 stuff coming from?

Just checked on dictionary.com and sonuvabitch, the definition of fascism really is "Shit I don't like."

Just to play Devil's Advocate, he did say that the first thing we need to do is secure elections. And he didn't float the idea of Trump as Speaker, that was his guest, Rogan O'Handley. Bannon didn't seem that impressed with the idea, honestly.

Not being a Bannon apologist, just providing context.

As we all know, solid, dependable scientific research is always completed within 24 hours and immediately posted on CNN.

They're too lazy to pay attention. They're the everyday equivalent of senile Joe saying, "Salute the Marines." They just regurgitate whatever comes over their "earpiece."

Bad things happen, but the sun always rises. Disconnect for a while - all of this shit will still be here when you get back. Immerse yourself in other activities, then, once you're refreshed, do what you can to help make things better.

Regardless of any awesome outcome, I don't see how he would be re-installed. Maybe the republic is saved and he is elected in a new election, but I don't see how he can just be plopped back in.

Gotcha. Thanks. That's part of the problem - disinfo is necessary. I'm preparing my brain for the worst, expecting years of American destruction. But if there's some deus ex machina, then fucking A, I'm all for it.
