A blanket statement like "Companies prefer DEI over people that are competent" just doesn't hold water. Again, while that may perhaps be true for some companies, they will not be able to compete with companies that choose the most capable/dependable candidates for advancing their bottom line. This is how business has always worked. I guess I don't see where your grievance is. Why are you worried about working for a company that you believe is doomed to fail? Why are you not able to get a license or certification?

Nobody was afraid to say it in the USA. Gimme a break. They may have felt like they couldn't stop traffic with it, or get everyone around to drop to their knees in prayer along with them. But I haven't ever known people to fear saying "praise god". Or, "oh sweet baby Jesus"! Or anything like that.
I don't know everyone, of course. And there is a spectrum to everything, obviously. But I would encourage you to not develop a persecution complex and just live out loud like peoole are encouaged to in this country.
Look at all of the churches. Look at all of the radio and t.v. preachers. Look at how marriages and funerals tend to have pastors just right out in the open talking about the lord. I mean, Mega Churches are a thing in this country. lol. Nobody is afraid to worship here. Go easy, and may god be with you christian brother/sister.

That's great they have a thing that's good. Esoecially if they live in Moscow where the utilities are dependable. Sucks that in many other parts of the country the Soviet Era infrastructure .akes for spotty heating in the winter, sometimes. That would suck if it were expensive on top of that. The ~60% of citizens that receive some form of welfare definately benefit from cheap utilities.
