100mg Zinc a day is nothing, depending on body weight. If you are sick you should be taking a lot (within reason!) of it in the early stages (it's not very effective later on).
100mg/100lb of body weight is a pretty safe upper threshold for most healthy people.
Happy to clarify. I know several people who have experienced it that I know are not BSing. In addition, I have seen countless claims of such symptoms on Social Media and on here. That is enough for me.
