Where did people go to Peter and confess their sin to him? Where did he say he could absolve them of sin? Where is Mary worship in the Bible? Read your own tenets of your religion to see what the papacy is all about, it’s definitely not biblical.

I don’t hate Catholics, I abhor the RCC for its unbiblical teachings, nowhere in scripture does it say Peter was the bishop of Rome. Just because the RCC uses the title of bishop doesn’t mean it’s used biblically. If you want to follow man-made traditions through the church, that’s your business, but I choose to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ is spoken in His word.

The papacy is a man made belief and it flies in the face of God and His word. I don’t believe Constantine is the founder of the RCC, he declared Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire. Christ is and always has been the head of the church, He has supreme authority over it, not a man that is called the pope, who the RCC claims is infallible. That would disqualify Peter as even he is rebuked by Paul “during his papacy”. You do Peter a great injustice when you attribute him to being the first pope, he would quickly denounce that title. Instead of focusing on what your church says is true, why don’t you actually read the Bible, which has the final authority as it was written by God.

I follow the OT and the NT, and your supposed “church” does not follow basic Christine doctrines, especially those I pointed out.

“ If I was Satan, I would think it'd be a good idea to try and discount the basic tenants of the Church started by Christ”

Do you even hear yourself?! You’re right, we don’t worship the same God, my God is the Lord God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, your god is the Roman Catholic Church.

I noticed you chose not to address anything I said about the obvious beliefs of the RCC that directly contradict scripture, the OT and the NT. I don’t follow Luther, I don’t belong to any denomination, I believe in the word of God. Jesus, who is God, is the ultimate authority in His church, not a man. I don’t defend Protestantism either, all these denominations are man made as well, they’ve only caused to divide, not unite, the body of Christ.

The RCC is not the original church founded by Jesus and the Apostles, the RCC came into being because Roman Emperor Constantine declared Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. The first “pope” was established in 606 or 608. The RCC has doctrines and traditions that directly go against the word of God. The Bible doesn’t teach that Mary was a perpetual virgin, she wasn’t sinless, she had to make sacrifices to atone for her sin, nowhere in scripture does it tell us to pray to Mary, she is not a co-redeemer with Christ. The Bible makes it clear we have ONE Mediator between God and man and that’s Jesus Christ alone, not priests. There’s nowhere in scripture that allow for indulgences, anointing a pope and declaring him infallible, praying to saints, etc. I could go on but there’s no need. The word of God is the final authority, not a man made religion.

The book of the Revelation (the revealing/unveiling) of Jesus Christ. It’s about Him. It’s about God keeping His promise to the nation of Israel, the time of Jacob’s trouble, God has had them in time out for two thousand years while the Gentiles have been grafted in. He will turn His attention towards Israel once again and their eyes will be opened that Jesus was indeed their Messiah. It’s also a day of reckoning. Jesus will come in all His glory and judge the world and to establish righteousness while He rules with a rod of iron during the 1000 year reign. When satan is loosed and tries to get the world to fight against Christ He will finally deal with Satan and sin once and for all, it will be done away with. In a nutshell, this topic is too big for a post

The church doesn’t have to be here because God’s attention will once again be turned to the Jews, it’s the time of Jacob’s trouble, to get Israel to recognize Jesus as their Messiah.

The pretrib rapture is real, to understand end times prophecy you have to understand where the nation of Israel fits into it. The Lord will come for His bride and then the seven year tribulation will begin as Satan possesses the antichrist, declares himself god, and as he’s pursuing the Jews who are fleeing to Petra the real wrath of God will come down until Jesus returns with His bride.

This is a spiritual battle and satan is behind it. He hates the human race and will even use these useful idiots to rid the world of those who were made in the image and likeness of God (Mankind).

My uncle who is 76 got a call from his cardiologist asking if he wanted them to vaccinate him with the covid shot. After he politely declined they kept pushing him to come in and get it. This wasn’t even his primary care doctor, makes me wonder why they were pushing him so hard to get it.

Please pray for my son who was a Christian then turned away when he was 18. He’s now 25 and I know the Lord is drawing him but he fights so hard against it. He’s a self proclaimed atheist and believes in “science” and is so left wing it’s hard to talk to him. His dad and I divorced when he was young, he’s been hurt and betrayed by those in the church, and my heart breaks for him every single day. Thank you for your post, it gives me hope.
