I don’t think there is any real difference between any of the translations. As a catechumen I attend a ‘class’ where we have 10-20 people on any given day. Most of us bring NABRE (New American Bible Revised Edition) because that’s what’s in the pews at the church. However there are several students who bring their own versions in. It’s interesting, while we read aloud you can hear different words but the meaning, the story, and the mysteries are all intact. We have people that bring the RSV(Revised Standard Version) or the NIV(New International Version) into class with them. Now as far as my parents go, God rest their souls, they swore by the KJV. They basically said everything else was garbage. I mean, it is one of the oldest translations in use for 100s of years. Why mess with a good thing? So I have some skepticism of newer translations. But at this point I’ve been studying the NABRE so hard I feel like I’m missing whatever goodness is in the KJV. Bah, I guess I don’t make any sense.

As for the nuclear power part well, going with decoding symbols at wordpress you’d have to say it has something to do with the Clintons. Having a PSA for a disease, in this case pulmonary embolism, isn’t all that unusual. Whats unusual is the shift in targeting demographics. Usually they target an older audience like seniors and middle aged folks, because they’re at higher risk. Young adults and kids don’t have these diseases. They haven’t built enough plaque in their arteries over the years of greasy foods. It reminds me of the “kids have strokes too” image I saw here a while ago that was a PSA on the side of the bus. And no.... kids dont have strokes. If this PSA was targeting a younger crowd, then I’d say yes they’re preparing the narrative for the clot shot.
