I found this
In the Book of Genesis, God planted the forbidden tree into the middle of the garden. He told the innocent human couple that they shall not eat its fruits or they shall die.
By putting sparkling lights and an “eat me” table on it, God made the tree easy to recognise. Still, he wasn’t sure that the humans possessed the required brain capacity themselves to eat the fruit. Since he does not throw dice, he set up the sneaky Snake for convincing them.
After his plan had been executed, God asked Adam and Eve what they were expecting as a punishment.
“We were expecting death, even though we had no idea what death might be. Would you please enlighten us?”, said Adam.
“Ha-ha. Sure, you will die at the end. But not now. That would be too quick. I have another idea. Before you die you’ll have to work for your food. I’ll make it so hard that you’ll become hurt and frustrated again and again.”
Now, you don’t have to be Christian or Jewish to grasp this. You don’t have to believe it at all.
What you have to understand is that one of the oldest and the most influential book of the human history states on its first page that working for your food is the punishment that God has given humanity in addition to the death. It’s a curse. It’s the symbol of the broken connection between the Creator and the Creature.
Hey there! I am also a fellow flipper. I am a starter and have been doing it for a few months now. My dad works a real job and has a whole garage of shit to flip. Can you make a sustainable life with just flipping? I hate service jobs and majority of the jobs around me pay shit wages or they are boring, mundane annoying jobs. I sell on Mercari and find great stuff to resell and flip. I would love to turn it into a career because I am very passionate about selling. Pops has taught me a lot about what to find and look for. It’s so satisfying making people’s days with shipping things out to them. I have 20 great reviews on my Mercari account and have been praised for my shipping skills. Is it possible to live off of flipping? I’m very satisfied with reselling and I find it very fun and enjoyable and would rather flip shit than work a soul-sucking service job. Flipping is fun. It’s mostly a passion or side job but I want to turn it into a full time gig.
You’re right. He looks more like a rat you find in New York Sewers. Can we start referring to him as the Swamp Rat? LOL
