A Court term is the 8 mths, or so, that SC(r)OTUS is in session to hear court arguments. The rest of the time is closed sessions for legislative matters, administrative issues, and "research."

Maybe Sinema will approve it because she's a woman, and [they] are determined to get a black woman on SC(r)OTUS, but Manchin might as well be a DINO at this point, so I don't see him voting yes.
This, like almost all the other "legislation" on the docket will be D.O.A. on the Senate Floor.
