Exactly. All Americans who aren't financially independent/independently wealthy - or fortunate enough to be on the gravy train - live with this fear every single day. It's called "life" in a free market economy.

Having lived and worked in both social Europe and free market America, I can vouch for the fact that Americans are on balance kinder people, including in the workplace. This is because they don't have a nanny state to take care of their every need, and have to sometimes rely on the kindness of others. This in turn will often build character of compassion (if you are not a psychopath) where you want others to succeed, and will help them do so.

Most Europeans see themselves as superior to Americans, but they simply have no grasp of what life there is really like, or of the American spirit.

Great people with a great outlook on life. May God bless and protect all of them as they land on their feet in the great new MAGA economy!

Correct. They have no compassion for anyone but themselves. They can dish it out, but they cannot take it.

During 45, I attended a conference filled with tenured academics and senior civil servants. The subject of the so-called "far right" was discussed at length, as was MAGA. (This was in Ireland, however I have encountered the identical mindset with American academics and civil servants).

Many of these pigs at the trough spoke very condescendingly about unemployed white working-class Americans and their so-called "grievances." In particular I will never forget one young PhD with a Cork accent and how completely obnoxious she was; clearly her livelihood had never been under threat of outsourcing to India or China.

Yes - tenured academics speaking about chronic unemployment as a "grievance," and MAGA as a disease - as though human beings with no money to pay for their lives just need psychotherapy for anger management in order to address the mental illness that is MAGA (Hi, Dr. Bandy Lee).

I don't like to see people lose their jobs, but the hatred most of these people have for ordinary working people, and their sense of moral superiority with regard to us, is the root cause of their current problem - certainly not President Trump. In other words - THEY are the problem.

Had they figured out many years ago what is obvious to all of us here, that they are extremely privileged to be in the position they are in and that the first world - America in particular - is filled with millions of people who, unlike them, live with chronic economic insecurity, they would have a much stronger and more resilient mindset with regard to their current predicament - instead of just "grievances."

My own difficult experience in the cut and thrust of the American workplace under global labor arbitrage in my 20s was a formative life experience that shaped my world view irreversibly. Perhaps this rupture will be character-building for some of them, and through their own "grievances" they will come to understand that they are not better than, or more worthy than, people they previously viewed as their inferiors.

He is totally unhinged, and his hatred for our beloved president pathological.

"(H)e leads by example and he is a natural born mentor, his actions can and will be duplicated by others who have the same heart."

So beautifully expressed anon. Yes, he has been showing us how this can be done.

He has opened our eyes so wide to the scam of the career politician that we will never see the government, or our public representatives, in the same way ever again. In doing this he has transformed the world in an unprecedented way that is nothing short of a miracle. We will NEVER be fooled again.

Greatest public figure of my lifetime, who I suspect will turn out to be one of the greatest figures in all of world history.
