This reminds me of how it was during the Viet Nam war and the Iraq war. Soldiers went because Viet Nam was a threat to our democracy and Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Many blamed our soldiers for being so naive but I honored them for being willing to sacrifice their lives for the rest of us, regardless of what I believed was false government narrative as an excuse to exploit more foreign territory. If you are looking for someone to blame, look further up the pyramid.

I used to be a health inspector. California law says that food can have a very small amount (I forget how small) of rodent hairs and bug parts. They know it's too much work to totally eliminate these but it needs to be reasonably controlled.
