There are negative numbers in a good portion of the northern US at the moment, as well. Wonder how the EVs are doing in say, MN where it’s -11 and KS is -9?

We all appreciate your service, thank you. Sorry you’re going through this. I had the same sort of experience. They had me on SSRIs, Ambien for sleep and buspirone and Xanax not all at once but boy, the VA was eager to hand out the scary stuff like candy. Everything I was on made problems worse and it took me years to figure out that it’s all worthless. It took a year to get off of the SSRIs. I did a taper for a month but side effects lasted, mood swings etc and what helped a lot was going very low carb and gluten free. It helped the digestive issues, lost weight, slept better, felt better overall. I quit drinking beer- that also helped the congestion and headaches and obviously improved the mental health issues because I would go to the dark side. I can still drink but I’m a lot more selective. It’s the hops that seem to be a problem for me.

So those are things to consider. I’ve also been taking Propranolol which is a beta blocker but has proved to be beneficial for preventing migraines, panic and anxiety and TBI issues. A lot of vets have had success with it and the one med I would recommend if you still have ptsd symptoms. It evens out your mood and prevents that adrenaline dump you get when anxious. I think it’s a game changer. You don’t get many side effects. It doesn’t make you tired and you can take daily or just as needed/prn.

Give it time, I promise it will get so much better. You’ll look back and wonder why you took that toxic crap and let them screw up your life for so long. Last- I know a lot of ppl who use weed. I can’t but if it’s an option, I’ve heard it helps a lot with withdrawal symptoms. Hang in there.

I absolutely hear ya!! Our family has had so much damage from opiates. My grandma was just in family court up In NY today to get a no contact order from her grandson, my cousin because he’s been an addict for years. My sister’s ex is dead from suicide over it. I hear you. I would never trivialize the opiate crisis. But this is another one, that’s all.

I agree but I don’t like how they’re encouraging everyone to use it, like it’s the “cure” for obesity. She said “it’s a miracle.” No, it isn’t. Maybe for someone morbidly obese and who has tried everything but Oprah is addressing the “every” woman or man or effing tranny out there. It is a starvation diet. Literal starvation but it costs a lot atm. Soon insurance will cover it for weight loss and everyone will be starving themselves but not making any changes to their lifestyle. No exercise required. Eat and drink whatever you want but only in minuscule portions. And their metabolic profiles end up worse after taking it than before when they were obese. But I don’t care about the celebs or the elite. I care that they influence good people and they are doing this at this moment.

I have friends taking it. They’re putting this shit, $1400 a month each... on a credit card because they feel it is so vital to their health and vanity to lose that remaining 30lbs exercise or lifestyle won’t fix. So the woman has lost 60 pounds and we’re All like “wow, you look like an end stage cancer patient, nice.” Didn't really say that but it’s gone too far. That’s when I started looking for info about it. Insanity.

Well, I guess I didn’t explain it so well. I didn’t mean as far as deaths or addiction. I meant as far as how popular it will be, the money making potential for big pharma, doctors and the weight loss industry. Sorry, I was in a bit of a rush when I wrote it.

I saw something about her taking ozempic/semaglutide which errrbody in hollyweird and the elite/wealthy (like Elon) are doing lately. I went down this rabbit hole lately because if you haven’t heard about this drug, you will soon! Just look up “Oprah ozempic” and you’ll find a lot of sauce. And wow, she said she would never use drugs for weight loss. Are we surprised she lies?

It originally was prescribed to type 2 diabetics and was helpful to them in low dosages but now they have trouble getting it because the demand is so high. They have “ozempic parties.” The kardashians are all on board.

Also- if you take it, you’re taking part in the after-market research study on the drug. They don’t know all the side effects or what happens to people taking it long term. There are severe side effects, stomach paralysis for one and in some cases it is permanent. They do know if you stop taking it, most people rapidly gain back all of the lost weight, plus some. Most people lose 40-75% of their muscle mass while taking this drug and never get it back unless they’re young. It’s basically a starvation diet. You can eat and drink anything you want but you’ll feel full after two bites and will puke and have constant nausea if you overeat or drink too much water. Figures Hollywood would embrace it, promote it, encourage young and old to use it even though it is going to devastate their lives completely.

Sound familiar? OxyContin anyone? This will be a bigger scam, with more deaths and more side effects than anything ever on the market before.

Well, I’ve been looking. Was it having anything to do with “Smart Beaming?” I can’t find anything specifically with a prof and students but the tech does exist where you can hear things with a device such as this-

Is there any more context? I’ve been looking but can’t find anything that seems correct.

I’ve had these circular arguments with me asking why they’re concerned about me, the un-jabbed, un-symptomatic, healthy person spreading covid since they had the jabs and are supposed to “be protected” and they still claim I’m the one spreading covid. How? They are always sick. Progressively more and more positive tests with them even after multiple jabs. I’ve never tested, never had “it.” They STILL think I’m the irresponsible, horribly selfish one. All this time and they still warily refer to me as the “rogue” one. I’m surprised I even get invited to stuff but I think they secretly hope I die suddenly from it and they can say “told you so.”

I have some friends (a couple) that have 4 jabs each. They were supposed to come to a New Years get together but didn’t because they “weren’t feeling well.” They both went to the doctor (cuz who doesn’t run to the doctor every time they don’t feel well?) and had covid tests and sure enough, “have covid” which that news they almost giddily shared with everyone. I’ve come to the conclusion, and this is from years of observation, that all this is attention seeking behavior. Another mutual friend who is also multi-jabbed said he heard the current strain “isn’t that bad” and so he is isn’t worried about it. He is grateful for the jabs. His wife has an aggressive form of breast cancer now and also is multi jabbed. When I’ve said (repeatedly) I’ve never been jabbed and never had it, they just shrug. I absolutely feel like they use this as a badge of honor, for virtue signaling and attention and it isn’t even about health anymore. There’s my towel on the ground, along with the filthy used masks. I’ll watch out to a certain point but I can’t continue wasting emotional energy on people who refuse to do any research, aside from the garbage they read on FB.

That’s how I felt initially! I got through the first season and found it very unsettling. I finally binged the whole thing last year and was able to stomach it but I’ll tell ya, National Anthem??? Just wow.

DeSantis was probably thinking “wow, I ought to pay attention to my state, they seem annoyed with me” when he decided to roll out the SG. “Maybe they’ll forget the homeowner’s insurance crisis and the colossal waste of time and money that is my presidential campaign-with this not uncommon weather event.”

Black Mirror is interesting. Some episodes are excellent and thought provoking. A lot of subject matter seems to be centered around technology and the dystopian nightmare the people are in. I’m glad I watched the whole series but it did come out a long time ago. What was considered Sci fi then is already here. But that episode, White Bear is worth watching. I know I’ve already spoiled it a little by commenting, sorry but worth the watch.

DeSantis rolled out the State Guard for expected storms this afternoon. Some schools have a half day. Meh.

That sounds like a Black Mirror episode. White Bear, season 2, ep 2
