Let’s say there were no COVID scare, no compliant priests and pastors, effecting church attendance. I’m all for freedom of choice and am a knife collector, but this needs to be said. I highly recommend doing some more research if you think a knife is a good weapon for self defense. Legally of course it is a nightmare “why did you have an assassins weapon on you when attacked? Expecting trouble? Couldn’t have avoided it? Truly?”. Even at close range a gun is more effective especially in trained hands vs some pasty antifa fool with a sog pocket knife. With a knife unless you get the jump on your opponent and cut specific parts it will take like 30 seconds to stop someone. Set a timer for 30 seconds and imagine what a hard ass biker that is now fighting for his life could do to you. A knife is surely better than nothing but I’d recommend looking into impact weapons or distraction weapons like tear gas or even a handful of coins to the face... then stab effectively or get away. My two cents. I’ve studied the subject a lot and would be wrong not to share...
