I believe it's a replica of the Andrew Jackson statue located outside the White House. President Trump was a fan of Jackson and had his presidential portrait, as well as the horseback replica statue, in the oval office.
During Andrew Jackson’s presidential term he decided that the National Bank must go. He decided that it did not warrant reform but rather needed to be destroyed. In 1832, a Renewal Bill for the United States Bank came to the President. Jackson chose to veto the Bill for the Bank, and the address that he included with the veto stated his clear reasoning for why he vetoed the bank. Jackson’s reasons for vetoing the bill were an amalgamation of his views that the bank was unconstitutional, a monopoly for the rich, and exposed the government to control of foreign interest.
Edit: Photo of Trump in Oval Office with Jackson portrait upper right, and Jackson sculpture lower left.
At the outbreak of WW1, Britain destroyed the underwater telegraph cables coming out of Germany. After that, all communications out of Germany, including news reports from allied reporters, went through and were censored by British intelligence before reaching the US. Propaganda was in full effect.

With satellites and sat-phones nowadays, this strategy would no longer be as devastating, but still a pain in the ass.
John Howard Sanden is the portrait artist, in case anyone was curious like I was.
He's only declined to do two portraits in his career. Once for that Seagram's Bronfman guy, because Sanden's father was a pastor against alcohol. And the other time was for Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina, because he vetoed a bill that would have protected the child after a botched abortion attempt.
About Trump:
Sanden is grateful for the president’s strong pro-life policies, and he sees a need for Christians to defend and proclaim Biblical truth as the culture celebrates immorality in a way that would have seemed inconceivable 50 years ago.
“Listen, somebody’s got to take a stand,” Sanden said. “Somebody’s got to take a stand for the Lord because we’re going down the tubes.”
The Confederation Bridge ruined PEI. Bring back the ferry! Never feel more alive than when riding a carferry trailing an icebreaker between Tormentine and Borden in mid-January.
A fun science experiment for kids is to make glow in the dark flowers by using tonic water instead of tap water in a vase.
Or, substitute tonic water for tap water to make glow in the dark jello. 🐸
(Blacklight required for both)
Cosa Nostra gets all the publicity and movies, but the Camorra and the 'Ndrangheta are older (16-1700s) and more dangerous. 'Ndrangheta doesn't let anyone in without blood ties, which keeps turncoats and information about the group to a bare minimum. Camorra was featured in John Wick 2, the D'Antonio siblings.
The principal difference with the Mafia is in recruitment methods. The 'Ndrangheta recruits members on the criterion of blood relationships resulting in an extraordinary cohesion within the family clan that presents a major obstacle to investigation. Sons of 'ndranghetisti are expected to follow in their fathers' footsteps, and go through a grooming process in their youth to become giovani d'onore (boys of honour) before they eventually enter the ranks as uomini d'onore (men of honour).
Grew up in a family full of commercial fishermen, so we always had seafood to eat. Would trade with extended family that had farms for beef/chicken/vegetables. Had lobster so often as a kid that I can't eat it anymore. White people problems. I probably have mercury poisoning. We never had any desserts or sweet stuff. If we wanted something sweet, my mom would butter some bread and then sprinkle sugar on top and tell us to take it and go away. I guess it's technically a dessert, since it contains flour, sugar and fat.
Greg Brady must be the new director.
Producer at NothingButCommunism News is the career equivalent of junior associate at The Gap. Aim low goofybeard, you're guaranteed to hit something.
Show us on "Lonnie the QAnonie" doll where those dastardly anti-pedo patriots touched you.
Pindar is also the name of a military citadel under London.
The most important military citadel in central London is Pindar, or the Defence Crisis Management Centre. The bunker is deep beneath the Ministry of Defence on Whitehall. Construction took ten years and cost £126.3 million. Pindar became operational in 1992, two years before construction was complete. Computer equipment was much more expensive to install than originally estimated as there was very little physical access to the site.

A Christian numerologist predicted the world would end on September 23, but that was for 2017. 🤔
That was a good movie.
Back at the base, it is revealed that the researchers had suspected and prepared for the comet's effects, but inadvertently left the ventilation system open and the fans running during the comet's passage. The deadly dust permeated their base. Reggie, who has become suspicious, escapes and discovers that the dying scientists have hunted down and rendered healthy survivors brain-dead. They harvest their untainted blood to keep the disease at bay while they desperately search for a cure.
Sounds like something the cabal would do. 🐸
I'd take Megadeth over Metallica all day every day. But for '92, I'd pick neither to headline. The honor would have to go to Pantera. Their "Vulgar Display of Power" album came out that year.
Sauce: my ears. And this.
