Correct. To put it plainly dispensationalists have been duped into believing Satan's interpretation of the "last days"! BTW I was a full blown dispensationalist for the list 20 years of my Christian walk! I have since "repented"!!
I can see you are being down voted fren. I believe the truth you have mentioned will be mainstream in the near future. There are 11 time statements in Revelation. Statements like "shortly come to pass", "the time is near" and "I am coming quickly". The Greek words used strongly convey imminence from the 1st century perspective.
In addition the internal evidence strongly supports the view that Revelation was written prior to the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 70 AD. The late date of 95 AD comes primarily from a quote from Irenaeus, bishop of Lyons. His quote is controversial because of grammar ambiguity, manuscript transmission, historical implications and dependence on a single witness (Irenaeus).
Probably the best verse by verse commentary on Revelation was written by David Chilton. It's entitled "Days of Vengeance".
5 other options! I went for the stool sample (Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT). It's non-invasive, done at home. IF positive, a follow-up colonoscopy is usually needed.
Other options: Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT) is similar to FIT. Requires dietary restrictions before testing. Detects blood in stool.
Stool DNA Test detects abnormal DNA markers & blood in stool. Non-invasive, done at home. Flexible Sigmoidoscopy examines the lower part of the colon. Usually no sedation.
Yes Johnston did say that about the blacks voting for the demoncrats. He certainly did destroy the black family.
I was born in 52' so I remember what it was like for black families "back in the day". No welfare but intact black families (for the most part) - not much different than white families. I believe we are now looking at the 3rd or 4th generations of black families on welfare. Welfare is ALL they have known! Of course white families are falling in the same welfare trap.
I find it interesting that you used the Latin word for "nations" instead of either the Hebrew or Greek! I am familiar with your interpretation but I have concluded it is far too narrow.
The argument that “nations” (often from the Hebrew goyim or Greek ethne) in the context of salvation refers exclusively to the 12 tribes of Israel tends to come from a particular view called ethnic or covenantal exclusivism. This perspective holds that God’s promises & salvation in the Old Testament are primarily, or only, meant for Israel (the descendants of the twelve tribes).
In the Old Testament, goyim often simply means “nations” or “peoples,” & frequently refers to non-Israelite nations, but sometimes the focus is on Israel as a nation composed of 12 tribes. Some argue “nations” is shorthand for these tribal divisions of Israel.
God’s covenant & promises initially centered on Israel (e.g., Genesis 12:3 — “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you”). So some say “nations” here means Israel’s tribes, as the chosen people.
The mainstream biblical scholarship & most Christian theology interpret “nations” to often mean all Gentile peoples beyond Israel, especially in the New Testament. This view is supported by:
The Greek word ethne consistently meaning “Gentile nations,” distinct from Israel.
Passages like Matthew 28:19 (“Go and make disciples of all nations”), showing the gospel’s extension beyond the 12 tribes.
The prophetic vision of a future where Gentiles are included in God’s salvation (e.g., Isaiah 49:6, Romans 11).
How would you explain what Paul had to say in Acts 17:26 (KJV)? - “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.”
Yes it's also a coincidence that most of California uses Dominion Voting Machines! According to the Los Angeles Times, Dominion Voting Systems currently runs voting machines in 41 of the 58 counties in California.
That means approximately 71% of California’s counties use Dominion machines:
Cost? We are at war. It's a different kind of war but it is war never the less. What would the "cost" be if this wasn't rolled out slow and methodical? We don't have the information that our President has at his disposal. None of us do!
The Deep State's original plan was to keep the country "locked down" for about 5 years until a vaccine could be produced. Of course that would have wrecked the country - which was part of their plan. Trump forced the DS to accelerate that time line to get the country open and back to business. At least that's what I believe....
I agree!
I am familiar with Herod being an Edomite (Idumean) Jew. Herod’s father, Antipater, was an Idumean (Greek for Edomite) from the region south of Judea.
The Idumeans were descendants of Esau (Genesis 36), historically distinct from Israel.
About 125 BC, the Hasmonean ruler John Hyrcanus conquered Idumea & forced the inhabitants to convert to Judaism—including circumcision & adherence to the Law of Moses (Josephus, Antiquities 13.9.1).
Once Rome installed him as king in 37 BC, Herod killed 45 members of the Hasmonean faction in the Sanhedrin who had supported his rival, Antigonus (Antiquities 14.16.4).
He also had Hyrcanus II (former high priest & respected elder) executed later, and other influential priests removed.
Josephus notes that Herod “abolished the whole of the Sanhedrin” except for those loyal to him (Wars 1.17.2) — meaning he effectively reconstituted it with supporters.
So the "Jews" that opposed Jesus and His disciples were likely of the Edomite Jewish variety.
The Apostle Paul (a true Israelite, tribe of Benjamin) said it all in 1 Thessalonians 2:14–16, where he writes:
“…the Jews, who both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men…” (KJV).
What's crazy is that, according to Paul, the true "Jews" are believers in Jesus Christ who have been circumcised in the spirit. Paul also said that "not all Israel is of Israel". The "Israel of God" is the New Covenant Church - comprised of both Jew and Gentile. Believing Gentiles are "grafted in" amongst the believing Jews (Romans 11). A non-believing Jew is referred to as a "broken off branch". But if they believe they can be grafted back in to the olive tree.
Yep - Futurism/Dispensationalism has done a lot to destroy the Church. I've been in "the Way" for about 42 years. For the first 22 years I was a Futurist/Dispensationalist. After much study and questioning I have "repented" of this false doctrine system. As I believe you are aware, it was the Scofield Reference Bible that introduced American Christians to this belief system.
It has dawned on me that what I was in effect doing, during the first 20 years of my Christian walk, was to believe (hook, line & sinker) the Adversary's (i.e. Satan) interpretation of the so-called "end times", "last days". When I first came to that realization it was a major shock to my system. You see, none of us want to be deceived or admit that we have been deceived. Human pride as a tendency to rear it's ugly head or just good ole' "cognitive dissonance."
There is a difference between "Revenge" and "Justice". This is Justice we are seeing. Laws were broken.
