Why the scare quotes?
I don't have a problem with Zionism, from the point of view that Jews returning to our ancestral homeland after rebuilding it during the pioneer period and having a refuge from the rest of the world is not a problem to me.
If you have another definition of Zionism, let me know.
I certainly don't support Globalism.
Haha. Fuck you.
Imagine Al Franken saying his regular racist crap and then ending with "But I'm black, so I can't be racist."
Someone else who's black, say Candace Owens, responds: "I'm black too, and that's racist BS. You don't get to not be a racist because of your skin."
Something like that.
I'm Jewish, but have no difficulty believing that Zelensky is an atheist with an amoral world view that promotes the dysfunctional progressive lens.
Get tired of it, actually, of promoting wickedness that is antithetical to actual Judaism, then hiding behind (ethnic) Jewish roots.
There was a meme, I heard, during Gamer Gate when they accused the Gamer Gaters who were after a gaming media that hated them -- their own customer base -- and called them racists and sexists.
Blacks and women who supported Gamer Gate responded with their own meme to these accusations: Not your shield.
Meaning, we don't agree with your characterization, don't use us to justify it. We are not your shield.
More believable than Biden.
Those ads on porn sites that say hot girls in my area want to meet me.
No problem. Have a good one!
Sorry to hear about your own experience.
There were times when I asked my mother if she would support me if I transitioned. She said "No." Very plain, very blunt. And she's very liberal. Even today we argue politics on all levels. But when it came to me pondering that decision, her answer to support was "No."
What if, instead of all those years ago, she was a Wokist who was gleeful at the notoriety for a transgender child? What would I have done then? Gone for it?
I don't know.
If you want to read a sober mind who went through the operation and regretted it, check out Walt Heyer.
I was a crossdresser for years. When I was younger I agonized and considered trying to the hormone / surgery / full time path. I even had a therapist once who was encouraging me to try hormones.
I didn't for the simple reason that I didn't want to play dice with my body or my health. If simple crossdressing made me feel better, and it often did, that was enough.
Now I don't dress any more, and I'm very glad I made no permanent changes to my body.
What if the next one is even weirder than this one?
(Yes, I wonder about this a LOT)
That's the ultimate form of sexism, right there. You can't be a girl who likes baseball or a boy who likes theater. It means you're not a real girl or a real boy.
Why do environmentalists rant about fur but never mention leather?
Answer: Because it's safer to bully rich old ladies than biker gangs.
I started reading a book about Gary Gygax, the inventor of Dungeons & Dragons. (Yeah, I'm a nerd). Starts off with the early hobbyist, not making a profit, having trouble making ends meet, but making his war games because he loves the hobby.
Anyway, in the very early days of his company, TSR, Gygax had two partners. He expected to be the editor / creative guy while the others would invest and handle the money, be president of the company, etc.
And one of the partners died. From a heart attack. At the age of 35. Which had pretty interesting ramifications.
But all that aside, I was pretty surprised to read about a heart attack death at 35. Back in the 1970s.
The Sabbath, being the seventh day. The day of rest. A sanctification not of place but of time.
Heh thank you. Pesach Sameach!
Who knows.
I found it hilarious when I realized the "don't blame me if you lose your money, I'm not a financial adviser" become more artfully described on Wall Street Bets with: "I'm a complete retard who sniffs glue and eats crayons. So don't look to me for financial advise..."
I half joked about selling magical amulets that protect you from Covid.
Probably a lot safer than the jab and just as effective!
Who says it doesn't?
There is a term in Judaism called the Erev Rav.
It ostensibly refers to the "mixed multitudes" which were at least some of the people at Sinai who pushed Aaron to fashion the golden calf.
Some were Israelites. Some were non-Israelites who were also slaves in Egypt and decided to escape slavery along with the Israelites. They figured they had a good thing going.
In essence, though, the Erev Rav refers to the type of Jews who work against Judaism, wittingly or unwittingly.
They called for the golden calf at Sinai.
They wanted to adapt Judaism to Hellenistic culture -- The Maccabees had to fight not just the Greeks, but also fellow Jews who thought Israelites should be more like Greeks. The Maccabee victory is celebrated as Chanukah. Consider the Reform Jews who treat Chanukah as a Jewish Christmas; would they have fought with the Maccabees or for the Hellenists?
And today there are still those that follow Torah and those that follow whatever the latest fad is.
Now this is a Torah concept. I'm no great Talmudic scholar -- but neither are most of the people who attack the Talmud.
But I imagine the Eruv Rav are discussed in there.
It is unbelievable how much of a role Fear plays.
That's why my mother loves the vaccine. She said it took away her fear.
I tried to tell her... didn't work... but that the problem was not Covid but her fear.
It's like Dumbo's magic feather.
Slightly off topic since it hasn't gone Woke yet. But so far it's why I'm really enjoying Cobra Kai.
Especially when Johnny tells his student to kick the Woke pansy in the face.
I heard it's a mitzvah to have children of both genders.... sons and daughters.
I only have daughters and my wife is done.
...but my sperm is pure blooded so.... might have to think about that.
That is real weird isn't it? And totally unnecessary. No one stopped gay people going to the parks. Why make a day about it?
Yeah, that's actually very profound.
Go to school or be a mule. (I.E. only able to make a living by selling your labor)
I guess that's when schools did something for you.
I visited Israel in the oughts, and I get no money for what I do.
Got any more cheap insults?
