I can watch Rumble vids without having to log in. Other than that, agree.

Alex I will take "People who annoy you" for $200 please

100% agree. I wish the guy luck, and really hope he succeeds as the world needs competition against woke companies. But Amazon has a HUGE number of competitive advantages. They are not just a "store" but an entire cloud ecosystem with immense computing power. Even Walmart is struggling to compete with them. I have my doubts that Mike stands much of a chance beyond a niche market.

I didn't check but I am sure that at least a few of them (Milley for sure), and possibly all of them, are Trump holdovers. Whether they were for or against Trump is still an enormous question.

The Joint Chiefs have no actual authority within the military beyond advisory to the President. It's the heads of the various COM's that control operations and are who you need to look at.

TIL that the M3 grease gun was used by the military for FIFTY years from 1942 up until 19 freaking 92. The 19th Engineering of 1st Armored used it in the Gulf War. Unreal.

This is one of the better headlines on this subject that I've seen so far today

It isn't that new strains aren't a thing. They are. This happens with viruses all the time.

What they aren't mentioning is that in almost every case, the virus mutates into a strain that is LESS LETHAL than the one before it. Viruses won't propagate if they kill their hosts quickly.

If we beat down our immune systems however, that is where a less lethal strain WILL kill us.

Hosting a domain name and message board is not really that expensive. YMMV on what you consider expensive, of course.

Also from everything I've heard, Snow is a well-loved guy in the locker room. And his "Head" gimmick was an all-time classic.

Yep, Voat was immediately the first thing that came to mind when i read the post title.

Yes you are correct. Pompeo's nickname is "Kansas".

Trump has been the ultimate intelligence test for the American people. Every person that tells you he pays no taxes is self-identifying as a moron.

Oh he's THAT GUY! Pure alpha. I look forward to his continuing career.

Giorgio Tsoukalos was also on the History Channel. Just sayin'. ;-)

5.56 wasn't specifically designed for wounding. And our military's tactics don't work around a "wound 1 to take out 3" type of approach.

0
SixTeaNine 0 points ago +1 / -1

Its actually the other way around. 5.56 has a greater tendency to break apart and/or have a larger wound channel than those other calibers.

Note that it wasn't at all invented for this purpose...the military was thinking far more about logistics and ammo counts/weight over other considerations.

That's exactly what i meant by an "AND" tax

Let's be honest, gas taxes are just a proxy for this. And gas taxes incentivize you to buy milquetoast electric cars and hybrids.

Switching to a mileage tax would incentivize me to get the biggest gas guzzler that I could afford.

Of course we all know they would implement this as an AND tax, not an OR tax...
