You can still join him, one of the things that came from Egypt was monasticism. They all lived together but they lived in caves in the desert so while they lived together they also were miles away from each other only coming together to celebrate the Divine Liturgy then once more returning to their caves.

Just got a text from my kids school district about this, all I can think is of all the amount of small coffins there will be now.

I can not stand when people fake flaunt about being a sexual abuse survivor. I was raped, molested, for years and years and years by my step father and I don't feel that as a "need to educate people" I'd ask if these people had any better journalism but we all already know that answer. Especially considering they can't do enough research to realize there isn't a such thing as QAnon.

Hi, I wanted to let anyone know who is saying "I can't fast, I can't go that long without food!" Fasting isn't abstaining from food for 24, 36, or 48 hours it isn't that at all. In the Coptic Orthodox Church we fast 210 days out of the year. Wednesday and Friday we eat vegan, depending on what your priest tells you you will abstain from food from 12 midnight to 12, 3, 5, or 6pm (no food no water) it varies based on your spirituality as a person hence why it's based on what your priest tells you as he knows you as a person and your struggles and strengths. We fast from 12 midnight to when Communion is and we can attend Liturgy any day of the week that is no food no water. We have different seasons of the fast and depending on the season it is either vegan or vegan + fish. Outside of that we also abstain from sexual relations if you are married.

The point of fasting for us is during this time we are to spend it with God in prayer and reading the Scripture. Fasting is a means of brining your body into submission under your soul/spirit because the body is weak and flesh.

Even still if it is then it shows we can laugh at a good joke. Unlike the left who just screeches and cries.

I enjoy how you seem to ignore the points I have brought up and instead of addressing them you decide to stick to personal attacks.

I have no idea why a person would "delete" their account but this seems to be a common excuse for people who end up being extremely aggressive. Was your other account banned?

Also I see you say your proof for salt. Not "Himalayan" pink salt but salt.

Finally stop with name calling and personal attacks against others. It isn't respectful, and it isn't cool.

Not sure why you are being so angry, maybe I struck a nerve with you 🤷‍♀️ keep paying for "Himalayan" pink salt that doesn't even come from the Himalayas but from Pakistan if it helps your mind believe it's working. That's your money your wasting, just trying to save you some money when sea salt is the same thing but your not paying for that fancy name.

Also I see you are new here this isn't reddit or wherever you wandered in from so there is no need for that kind of language towards another. Kindness goes a long way. God bless you.

The mind is a powerful thing and what you are experiencing would be called a placebo effect.

Pink Himalayan salt is nothing more than a con. It's not special or heals you and while it is better than table salt it's no different than sea salt. It also doesn't come from the Himalayas but Pakistan.

Personal I use sea salt since it is a higher quality than table salt and I never buy preground salt I have a pepper mill that I use for my salt.

No, funny enough she wasn't vaccinated until she went to 1st grade. She just was always slower in everything. I do believe I might have ADHD although nothing diagnosed but it would explain where she got it from.

Not to mention not all of us can homeschool our kids. I have 4 children my oldest sufferers from ADHD because we live in a mobile home there isn't a space for her to have her own room away from distractions to do her school work. She also is a little bit slow intellectually and goes to special services that are free with the public school such as speech therapy. Someone has to fight the public school system because "Just homeschool them" isn't a great solution.

I was at Walmart not to long ago and saw it on the shelf and I legit thought it was like one of those questionable brands till some guy told me it was Aunt Jemima. I had no interest in buying it before I knew it was Aunt Jemima and even less interest after I discovered the name change.

Go woke, go broke.

I have never seen this before, but one of the things there caught my interest and it reminded me of a history project I did when I was in school about a place called Andersonville Georgia. It was a death camp in the civil war, it was the first time I saw people emaciated like that I think I was about 14 or 15 at the time when I did it. It still sticks with me to this day, something I can never understand how we can do that to our own citizens. If we did that to them, I have no doubt about what other horrors we have committed.

I like Kodiak for pancake mix, and they are partnered with a grizzly bear foundation which is kind of cool to me.

Unfortunately I live in a very Democratic area. I am the only one at my kids school outraged by it.

I flew Sprit it's a mixed bag, their employees are mask Nazis though (I didn't buy the ticket it was bought for me as a trip to meet some friends in Chicago) the plane I flew to Chicago on was very small and uncomfortable the one back home was much more spacious.
