It's crazy to think how just two years before this happened I had a relative who was flying internationally from US with a layover in Europe and had a kitchen knife set in his carryon. They pulled it out during inspection and asked why he had it. He said it was a gift (which was true) and they thought about it for a second and decided it was fine. Now I can't even bring a bottle of shampoo.

I was in 5th grade (so maybe 11?) And the teachers at school decided not to say anything to us, we just saw them leave the classroom a lot and whisper. They didn't want to stress the kids out in case any of us had relatives in new York or something. I come home like normal and my mom is sitting in front of the TV very stressed out. I said something off hand, normal to her and she just started screaming "how do you not know what happened today?!" And just put me on the couch next to her to watch the news. I feel like she could have handled that better lol

I was so hoping to see some of this on my Facebook feed as well but the only thing I saw was someone posting that they "already had their vaccine and it looks like a lot of people will have to get theirs too now." This is so sick. I really expect some of the vaccinated to open their eyes but instead it's "I didn't say anything when they came for the unvaccinated because I was already vaccinated."

We actually had the flu this past spring. Didn't get tested for it though because I've had it many times and know exactly how it feels. So it's definitely out there but the pediatrician seemed very surprised. Said she was wondering if maybe there is something wrong with the flu test.

Hopefully that's the worst of it and nothing else happens ๐Ÿ™

What has your experience been with it? Did you have any side effects?

It would make sense that his arrest would confirm direction.

I interviewed with them for a job once. Every single person I saw looked sad and overworked, no one smiled. Made me glad I wasn't given an offer and found a place people actually enjoy coming to.

While one would hope that this is the way it would be interpreted if it ever came down to it, unfortunately the constitution it self does not define what a natural born citizen is, which has left it up to the supreme court. Under the 14th Amendment's Naturalization Clause and the Supreme Court case of United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 US. 649, anyone born on U.S. soil and subject to its jurisdiction is a natural born citizen, regardless of parental citizenship. While I would agree that this is certainly how it should be interpreted (having a parent who is also a citizen) for the office of presidency, given the current climate of illegals having anchor babies, I doubt the supreme court would ever agree that this is the correct interpretation. The current laws on citizenship are just not strict enough for this interpretation to hold.

Sorry but that's just not true. There is only "natural born" and "naturalized". Anyone born on US soil is "natural born". That is the definition of natural born. You're born in to it and there is no other stipulation, even for presidency.

Even in your own example, one could be born on US soil to two US citizens but if a parent has dual citizenship, depending on the laws of the other country, the child could then also inherit a second citizenship. In that case the person would be born to two us citizens, on US soil, and still have dual citizenship.

It must have just been the media because I kept hearing him say over and over how the vaccine is a personal choice.

Your last sentence reminded me of the book divergent.

Both rules are true. One is a natural born citizen if they have at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen or if they are born on U.S. soil. If one is born on U.S. soil then their parents' citizenship is irrelevant. If one is born outside of the U.S., then they are a natural born U.S. citizen if at least one parent holds U.S. citizenship.

Doesn't matter. If you're born on US soil you have US citizenship.

I don't think the poster was correct on tomatoes. In a skin care book I had read that was all about reducing inflammation in the body, tomatoes were encouraged. I think it's all about moderation.

I was recently reading a book on how to eat right for healthy teeth and the author mentioned how he had never encountered vegetarians with good teeth. on occasion indians will balance their diets correctly, but typically it's extremely hard to do right. Veganism just seems impossible and sounds very unhealthy.
