Seconded 👍🏽 Basically useless (on mobile). I save so many posts so I can go back, see updates & reread for meta-research purposes. Now my saved folders are bulging. A simple key-word Search on any subject would bring same posts up, alas I gotta digg thru my saved posts to try to find same.
This ☝🏼☝🏼As I hate asking if anyone can share a link to something I saw because we can’t use the search feature. With that being said, doesn’t anyone have the link to the study on newborn issues where the parents are vaccinated? Only reason I ask, is that my family thought I was beyond crazy when I mentioned it was an issue and unfortunately my brother and his wife just had a baby, both jabbed and now the baby has been in NICU with some blood issues

What search function?
For months I haven’t been able to search. I made a post about a month ago. People were kind and tried to help but nothing worked. When I first made my account on communities I could search, post in any section of communities. When I clear cache on my phone I have to sign back in. I’m signing in on GAW, not communities. I don’t know why and when this changed. Communities home site doesn’t recognize me. It’s very weird because I can view every saved post & I have saved a lot! I could search for months before I made an account. I started reading here 1/2021 & made my account in June or July of 2021. Something has changed and I can’t figure it out. Maybe it’s a safety protocol to keep non members from searching 🤷🏼♀️
It was in one of the feeds. I normally start with HOT & sometimes go to NEW, RISING & TOP feeds.
Many haven’t, legend is... there is a code of conduct there.

Right! I discovered that tapping the blank space at the top of the page next to you username, you can find the side bar. Since then, I have matured....somewhat.

Really? I use it often on mobile. lot's of repeat topics when newbies join, good to go back and compare. The sidebar on the other hand, never knew of it until a few months ago. Kek
When you click search it pulls up the sidebar if you scroll on mobile.

I've used search before on mobile, on Android. It doesn't fetch the best results but it does function for me.

Ya know, someone that wanted to help would point out to people how to view the desktop site. But rather you choose to throw out blanket insults.
Tap the three dots, top right of your browser. Select Desktop Site.

The side bar doesnt always work and some new users might only be on mobile and didn't know it existed.
the sidebar disappears even in desktop mode on narrow screens retard. It's not based on mobile status, but on browser window width, even landscape mode on a phone in desktop mode is not wide enough to unhide it.

seriously though, the search function has literally never worked for me. i can know the exact title of a post, and cant find it using the exact title. even just putting 1 single keyword, returns 0 results. broken on mobile and desktop

There is no sidebar on my phone screen. I am usually on my computer so that hasn't been an issue. I know the rules. If I needed a mod, I guess I'd pursue that on the computer. Otherwise, I'm assuming that the above png is humor.
