Trump tasks people around him to help him make decisions. In his mind, he hires the best and brightest. Knowing this, he still asked them to consult his son.
This tells me two things:
1.) He spends enough time, as a dad, with his son, to understand generational differences in TV vs internet
2.) He trusts his son
Trump not only is a master businessman, he's still a good father. Not saying he's the best dad ever, I'm sure he's very busy, but this tells me more about his character.
